DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I love your thoughts, but I completely disagree that Tiana's was a disaster. When not comparing it to Splash and rating it on its own merits, I had a fantastic time.

That said, I completely agree on your predicted rating of Indy. I do think, because the nature of the attraction is going to force them to rely on more practical sets and animatronics than screens that it's going to really deliver compared to what Encanto may provide.
If you compare Tiana’s to Splash, disaster is not a strong enough word.

If you rate it as a new attraction that just opened It would rate for me a 4/10. Easily the worst e ticket in the MK and probably the worst on property.

Looking at the model compared to the concept art, is this section to the left of the carousel a covered queue now?

I think the reason it's so sad to me is Dinoland/Dinosaur has died such a slow and agonizing death dating back to what, 2022 when they first hinted at it and we knew it was coming?

I'm really trying to be optimistic but even the model of the house area looks a lot more drab than it did in the original art. For all the hype, it seems like the design is quickly getting watered down, which I can only hope gets reversed before final construction. I don't expect Indy to end up looking much like the concept art either, but we will see.

Judging by its placement in relation to the concept art, I think that will be the physical Madrigal Casita
Disagree. I think it's set too far back for that. It looks more like it's in the vicinity of the finale room. Casita will actually be angled a bit differently from the rest of the structure and slightly farther up from there, if I recall correctly.

It's probably going to be force perspective and we enter from a cellar perhaps? From the concept art you can see it's walled up in front so guests can't walk up to it...

But, then again it hasn't stopped schmucks from walking up mexico's temple at Epcot...🙄

We’ve seen the site plan. Casita isn’t even attached to the show building. It sits in front of it at an angle, with some space behind it for some perspective-generating trees. The actual size of the facade is about the same as the temple facade for IJ, so yes, there’s likely forced perspective in play despite the structure still being quite large. You enter through the outbuildings to the left which, along with rockwork, mask the actual show building. Standard queue enters to the left, Lightning Lane to the right.
