No, only WoM gets cool nods. TT 1.0 can go kick...That would have been a cool nod to TT 1.0!
Oooohhhhh... Well played.

100% a tripping hazard, especially in the dark...never underestimate the lack of self-awareness while people are on vacation. This is just lazy...
Could have been water, shrubbery, boulders, but they just went to Home Depot to get some rocks. Also, 10 bucks says that low curb becomes a tripping hazard.

Rocks also get scattered around the pavement. Someone steps on one and slips. Uh oh.This is just lazy...

Not to mention kids picking them up and throwing them.Rocks also get scattered around the pavement. Someone steps on one and slips. Uh oh.
There has to be something else coming. I can't imagine someone at Disney hadn't thought of potential liability issues. But you never know. Not to mention kids picking them up and throwing them.
Maybe a some kind of a ring mounted to the concrete base, either made of plexiglass or metal tubes?I’m on the safety team at work, so I am always looking for safety hazards. This screams trip hazard to me, also there is a potential for the rocks to become projectiles unless they are cemented down. There has to be something else coming. Even the sign for Test Track 1.0 had a chain around it.
Pick up that phone because I called it.Typically getting the main statue/sign up and pavement in the plaza means things are getting close to a finished state.
We should go back to saying Big Thunder should open early because of the track being done.
These are good! #2 would be my preference, but even #1 would be a good improvement on what there is currentlyI used AI to whip up some alternate ideas for the new sign. Even the most basic and obvious choices look better imo:

That's what stands out most about it to me. It seems the first feedback that idea would get was that it would be too easy for people to climb all over it and that the rocks will end up disappearing and all over the place if they aren't glued down.Definitely a weird choice. It feels all but certain that people will walk through and/or take the rocks. A deterrent is needed, even if it’s just a railing. Also, as was said, basic landscaping would be preferable.
