Nice.
🤣

Honest, I am not in any way paid off by the Disney Company despite the many things I have done for them over the years.

I know these kids events are not for me, but I can appreciate and observe how Entertainment presents and performs these events.
As an entertainer myself, it’s always fun to check out someone else’s act.

Today it was ‘GoofyCore’, and the audience was there and having a great time with it.

They were loving it…and the Cast were having a good time too.

I was enjoying those Starburst branded gummy candies, however.

So I am not nessesarily endorsing this product, but I went over to Communicore Hall earlier yesterday to check out the presentation at ‘GoofyCore’.

Ya know, it might not be for me or other adults….but I have to tell you all that everyone I saw there for that particular showing was smiling ear to ear.
Everyone was having a great time dancing and playing games with Goofy - adult Guests, the kiddos, Cast, …everyone.
It was actually really nice to see.
They all seemed to be loving it and having the time of their lives.

The interior design was crazy colorful with a fun new rug for the event, plug lighting effects for the different games.

The best part for me was stepping outside however and being given two big bags of gummy candy by a CM.
Free giveaways…yay!

So despite my own opinions on this, and how some of us might moan about this kid stuff….and marketing fluff….i have to say this -
From what I saw today, Guests loved it.
I seriously saw some real family bonding moments, with families having fun together.
Uncle Walt kinda wanted that, yes?

As a temporary thing, it seems to work for the current crowd.
Let em’ have a bit o’ fun.

Seems like you are endorsing it. Not sure why you're scared to say so.

Sounds like it is doing a great job at exactly what it is meant to. I know a lot of our trips our top memories are from smaller and unexpecrted moments so this is great

Doesn't mean I want the entire park to be things like this but "filler attraction" stuff like this for families is a great addition

You know what's funny?
Just curious if you have children or not.

Like others stated, I think expecting more is reasonable but these summer offerings aren't hurting anyone.
Yes...2 kids

I have nothing against seasonal events and offerings, but to put it simply, putting lipstick on a pig just doesn't cut it for me. It is a horrible space, and the event itself is just basic, lame, and without creativity.

Dancing in the parade with the seven dwarves is a core memory for me. These kind of interactions do stick with people.

These people must not look at Disneyland seasonal entertainment which tops wdw every single time.

There's no way you have kids. I'll never forget sitting in Canada, having a cold drink, while my stepdaughter colored a Duffy on a stick. We still got our money's worth on everything else, but letting kids have some unstructured moments only benefits everyone's sanity on a vacation that can be extremely overstimulating and exhausting.
I do. Sitting down to take a rest is one thing, but Disney trying to pawn off playing with a parachute as an experience instead of developing new rides is my complaint. They have not developed anything new for a while, just cheap re-skins while removing old attractions. That is my complaint here mostly, them pretending this is something special.

But also my kids will not be playing here, no problem if you want to have yours do so though.
