I like how they are playing up the family aspect, something that was mostly lost in the previous films and was important to the group.
Yes! A couple that are a happy couple. Very rare in comics. I'm happy about that.

And while Pedro doesn't really fit the physical features of Reed, at least we got a Reed that's easy on the eyes.

While I wasn’t a big reader of the Fantastic Four comics when I was younger, one of the things that excited me most about the Fox acquisition was that Marvel Studios would finally have a chance to make a Fantastic Four movie. My hype level increased when they revealed the theme last year and after the trailer, I am so excited for this movie!

Okay so watched the trailer and I think it looks pretty good I like the style beyond that my strongest emotion coming out of it is that herbie is ADORABLE and I want to buy all the merchandise with him on it right away but I don’t know maybe I just have a soft spot for robots after all my favorite movie is wall-e

Very excited for this and I haven't been excited for a Marvel flick in a while.

It was smart to market this as a stand alone movie that doesn't require any prior knowledge of the characters or "homework" to get caught up with what's happening. We also haven't had a Fantastic 4 movie in 10 years, and never really a great one either, so it's not like they've been overexposed. It's an MCU movie, but the first in the long time to just be sold and made as a regular, ordinary Marvel movie.

I think after so many years of -verses (MCU and Sony), people are more than fine with that.

With IMAX screenings of Captain America: Brave New World, the countdown that plays before the movie starts has been replaced with a Fantastic Four themed countdown! It was totally unexpected and a nice surprise! The trailer looked and sounded fantastic in IMAX!
You can thank me for sharing video of that online.
