Must be opening next week??
Finally some semblance of progress.
Must be opening next week??
Must be opening next week??
The purple boards are sheathing, not insulation, and they weren’t painted. Why would they install the pretty new sign on a wall that is still unfinished? Seems like it is still missing it's exterior sheathing...I thought this was the purple insulation layer they painted a few weeks ago... You can see the painted tape around it... hmmmm maybe they had a contract that they started paying rent as soon as the sign went up?
ok. whatever...the walls appear unfinished.... and yet the sign is going up.... which usually happens after the walls are completed.... normally...The purple boards are sheathing, not insulation, and they weren’t painted.
The gold is a little bright, but I think the sign looks nice and fits the restaurant chain ... Doesn't necessarily feel like The Boardwalk, but that ship has sailed...lol We really needed something like a Diner type restaurant there on Crescent Lake....that would be open until Midnight...That sign is tacky as hell.
Because like the walls it’s not what you are assuming.ok. whatever...the walls appear unfinished.... and yet the sign is going up.... which usually happens after the walls are completed.... normally...
Let's not be (the site that shall not be named) and write an article saying it's a new color when it's just plywood. Is the Crest o' the Wave switching its color scheme?? It looks that red/burgundy in the video. Wasn't she always a pretty seafoam?
care to explain then?Because like the walls it’s not what you are assuming.
It’s very clearly not just a sign that is installed onto a finished surface. The contractor isn’t just risking having to pay to replace something for lols or to fake progress.care to explain then?
Did they also build a niche just the right size to hold the signage nearly flush with the rest of the wall? Did they put a sheathing brand’s logo onto rigid insulation? Did they use paint as a bonding agent or weather barrier?I have had two different contractors do that during construction projects....so the concept of it actually happening doesn't sound foreign to me... and in both situations the things they were doing had to be completely redone do to damage occurring afterwards.... And yes they were professional contractors...
My father was an architect/builder... I grew up around construction.... Though I understand techniques change...
