    Terry Tate: Office Linebacker

Was/is Terry Tate a real NFL football player? That's the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!

    Favorite Super Bowl Ads

I really liked the Reebok ad with the football player in the office, tackling everyone. Man, could I use one of those in my life! I'd tackle meter maids and mean professors and my nasty new boss...;)

Celebration, FL IS A Test City For Segway LLC

Can you imagine using one of those in San Fran? It would be impossible and probably dangerous! I have a hard enough time driving a car there!

    Off-site hotels

When we're trying to be cheap, we stay at the Sleep Inn on 192W. The place was recently renovated and has nice rooms, a decent pool, really nice staff, a complimentary continental breakfast and it can be as low as $35/night (one king sized bed and you get the coupon online). We payed $39 since...

Disney Restricts Access to Hotel’s Observation Area

I've had dinner at the California Grille right before fireworks time and I don't remember it being crowded outside. But I can see why they would want to control the crowd size...not only can large crowds ruin your dining experience but how safe can it be to have masses of people out there? I...

Epcot Center lounges. Truth or fiction?

I wish they hadn't closed the AP Lounge in The Land - I was looking forward to using it NYE to escape all of the people! :) It really was a nice place to go and relax. When we went on July 4th, we were able to get priority seating for BLAST and wristbands for the AP fireworks area in Italy...

Hunchback of Notre Dame get's killed

That's great - I think Broadway audiences will really enjoy Hunchback. It was tremendous and possibly the best musical I have ever seen onstage (with the exception of The Producers... apples and oranges...). :)

Hunchback of Notre Dame get's killed

Thanks, Rob. The times I actually knew - I just didn't know which days the show would be held on. I called Disney and they gave me the answer. My sister and I actually made a trip down from Pennsylvania the Sunday before it closed and got to see it about 6 or 7 times. No doubt about it -...

Hunchback of Notre Dame get's killed

Yes, I saw the show in March 2002 in Berlin. It was AMAZING! I did post a thread about it back then but I can't find it now. The show closed this past summer :( but I talked to the conductor and he said that within 5 years or so we should expect to see this version of Hunchback in the States...

Hunchback of Notre Dame get's killed

Does anyone know the show schedule from now til the 28th? I don't know if I will be able to get there on the 28th but maybe sometime before... Please help... I love the Hunchback but we all have to be grateful it lasted as long as it did. It was a real highlight of all of our visits and...

This is terrible! (Thread orginally posted 9/11/2001)

My 2 cents... I remember early on 09/11, PMing Mr. Promey back and forth, commenting on what a beautiful day it was and how I wish I wasn't at work, when everything changed. I can't help thinking about the people at the Towers and the Pentagon who were just beginning their day like me or the...

    Baby Names?

My new nephew's name is Aidan (he was born a week ago today!) so I vote for that. Aidan Patrick sounds very nice together! :)

    Port Orleans Riverside

You can get a really good Bloody Mary at the outside bar near the pool. I've had too many of them and can't remember the name of the bar. ;)
