News Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opening reports and using Boarding Groups at Disney's Hollywood Studios

We will be in HS on Jan 28th and probably most days until we leave on the second. I have really enjoyed reading this thread everyday. I’m hoping the 8am stands but I’m not counting on it.

    Hardest part of planning?

I love planning but it’s frustrating not having the updated hours when it’s time to plan ADRs and fast passes. I’m always happy when they extend hours but it would be nice to know when you are planning 180 days in advance!

    FP+ Timing Strategy

Yep! It works great! It’s especially helpful if you want to hop to another park. :)

    FP+ Timing Strategy

We use to book ours for the afternoon when lines got longer but this last trip we changed it up and it worked really well. We book our fast passes starting around an hour after park open. Then as soon as we tap our band On the first FP we try and move the other two up. So let’s say I have passes...

Lion King or Nemo show at AK? Which is better

We prefer Lion King. While Nemo is visually very cool, it went on about 15 min too long for our young boys. However, if your kiddos enjoy broadway they will appreciate both! :) I would suggest checking them out on YouTube if your still undecided.

Tusker House - Can it please picky eaters?

My boys 4 and 10 LOVE Tusker House!!! We skipped it last year and that is the only sit down they have requested we go back to. We like doing a 10:50-11:00 reservation. (What ever the last breakfast reservation is.) The boys like it because there are still Mickey waffles and yummy breakfast out...

    Opinions Please... Don't Smack Me!!!

Honestly Epcot is both my boys favorite park and Test Track was their favorite ride at 3 and 4. Just make sure when they stand under the height measurement, have them raise their arms straight up. A cast member taught us this trick. It makes them stand up straight. :) Also, check out the...

Is Sanaa discontinuing lunch service this winter?

I noticed that as well. I was hoping for a lunch adr in January. At first I assumed it was booked up for the date we wanted but then I realized it just wasn’t available. I’m hoping it is just a glitch and hasn’t been loaded.

Why are so many adults are obsessed with WDW?

When I graduated college in 03, I wanted to take a trip to Disney World to celebrate. My husband and I had both been as children and all I remembered was how magical it had been. My husband thought it was just a place for kids and I was crazy...but we went anyway. Now it’s still the only place...

Ways of prepaying for food other than the dining plan?

We used gift cards for food last time we went in January. It was our first time going without free dining. I’m not sure if it has changed or not but at the time you could not use mobile ordering with gift cards. I had not thought of that and I was disappointed as it would have been much more...

    Cinderella's Royal Table

I have not eaten at Akershus but I finally got to eat at the castle with my boys a couple of years ago. It was such a magical and special experience just to be in the castle. The food wasn’t amazing but I would like to go back sometime just to be in the castle overlooking the park. We had a...

    Driving to WDW - roadtrip

We drive from Nashville with DS4 and DS10. We try to find places to stop along the way so they can get out and walk around. There is a science museum and a couple of state parks we stop at. We take a picnic lunch sometimes too. Just stopping at a Chick-fil-A for them to play for 30 minutes does...
