You know, after reading this thread it is amazing to me how many of us thought the same thing after going through the Narnia display. Perhaps Disney should test some of these new displays with folks before premiering them.
I remember my exact thoughts when I first went thru this ride: I...
What about that huge chunk of land right beside CA (it is the remaining part of the parking lot that CA was built on. That stands out to me as almost bizarre that they left that prime spot undeveloped. Are they holding that for California Adventure future expansion? The area is about 1/3 the...
So you mean something like this..... (see picture link below)
I guess it makes sense... but then Disney becomes sort of a :D thru-way for traffic. Is this the kind of road you mean:

You know, when I look at the roads thru Disney I notice that so many of them have a "wandering" pattern, rolling and winding, that it seems obvious that it was/is there intent to create something beautiful rather than straight line roads that get you from point A to point B. I always think that...
Epcot is my personal favorite and Magic Kingdom is not to be missed but hands down in your case (age range, the boyfriend/guy thing) I would pick Disney/MGM Studios. Great combination of Disney magic and modern thrills (TOWER OF TERROR is a MUST!):sohappy:

I have to disagree. :( Based on that logic, it would be even better to have just 20 people in a club the whole night who spend $100.00 each because it is the same revenue. But what is forgotten in this logic is that people go to a club to be :D "where the party is" ...Most of those 20 people (or...
:o I would love to see an alternate Disney entrance area! What is outside of the Disney owned land on that side? Is it all open land or is it residential or something? I am hoping that Diz swaps up any remaining open land on that side so that they can avoid having it all become overdeveloped and...
Dang! :brick: :brick: I was just down at Disney last week and I meant to head over that way to see the progress and what the area looked like. With Disney planning to build new hotels and retail (a new mini-Downtown Disney?) I really want to see what this area is set up for.
What is outside...

The "Listen To The Land" theme.....   which is gone now from the attraction.
Anyone know why they took that out? I inquired with the guys running the ride and they really didn't know other than to say that it did was not kept when the ride was renovated. :(

Some people, especially Disney newbies :king: are very confused about this. And maybe it is understandible. About 3 years ago I was coming out of Epcot heading for the monorail and one nice lady with a British accent (who was also just coming out of Epcot) asked me, "Can you please tell me how...
:D If done right, with the right Disney "magic" and humor, creating a midway area with cast members done up as old time "barkers" (even including false bad teeth, etc etc....) It could be a lot of fun. A way for Disney to poke fun again at exactly what they are not. A park with those kinds of...
:sohappy: Here is a map of the new area. Like they say, sometimesa picture is worth a thousand words. :o
