It's called a Florida Resident Discount for a reason. You MUST be a Florida resident, if you're over the age of 18 you will absolutely be required to demonstrate proof of residency. C'mon on people is this really a difficult concept to comprehend? It's not called the "well if you know a person...
Absolutely not, if you're over 18 you will need to provide a Florida resident ID, Bank statement or tax bill. I'd recommend getting yourself a Florida resident ID.
Your brother is right, unless you absolutely must do a split stay due to availability limits. You know the old adage "time is money" ? Why would you want to waste so much time packing, unpacking, checking in and checking out when your time could be so much better spent enjoying the awesome...
We have 4 children so when we vacation we always get the DDP. It's so convenient not having to budget based on menu pricing and my kids really love it because they don't have to worry about what they order as well. It only takes a couple of character dining experiences to see the value in the DDP.

Always book direct with Disney! Best pricing, experience and they are open literally 365 days a year. They can handle all of your travel needs including air so never understood why people on here approach it any other way. I used a third party TA one time and never again. Trying to make changes...
Disney's Contemporary Resort!!! Huge rooms, closest to MK and can't get better access to the Monorail. If you can do it definitely go for the theme park view room (AMAZING VIEWS) and even better still Atrium Club Level! You'll be pampered and treated like royalty. All this without the old...
Book a family suite if that's what you want. Why would you book a standard room then hope for an "upgrade"? Additionally, the mermaid rooms are very limited and are never eligible for WDW promotions. I'm amazed how many people on here are only willing to pay for standard rooms or value resorts...
Really? Anytime throughout the holidays is busy. Why you would think that it's not, I'm not sure. Planning a last minute trip to Disney is very much a gamble. You have to remember that WDW is the number 1 vacation destination in the world! not florida, not the US but quite literally the entire...
