Trying to decide when to book fall '18

Planning a trip in October but not sure when we should book. Should I go ahead and reserve now before the annual ticket price increase? Or wait till closer to spring hoping for either a room discount or free dining? Staying at PORS. Thanks in advance.

Book it now. Many of the rooms are already filling up. If you want a specific room/hotel I would not delay.

Its always better to book sooner than later. Then after the price increases are done and the promotions are released you can take a look and see if you will actually save money by adding a promotion.

If you want a specific room category at Riverside book your vacation now. Riverside often has limited free dining and room discounts so you may not be able to get a promotion for your trip. But if one comes out, it's best to make changes yourself when it comes out rather than call in the morning. We love Riverside but we changed to Coronado Springs for our March trip because we got better discounts there with the Disney Visa promotion.

We booked our trip this year on Dec 1, 2017 for POFQ. We looked again last weekend just for kicks and the whole week we want to go (the week after Thanksgiving), is booked there now. We even looked for just a few days to see what's open and it was booked. I always think if you have your heart set on a specific hotel or vacation, it's best to book it as soon as you know you are planning to go. You can always get a refund.
