  • Remember - not letting it faze us!! Plus your post did remind me about the weather there - the 60% could be 5 min. of rain. No matter, as Lee likes to say, "it is what it is". Nothing we can do but not worry and just relax and enjoy no matter the weather!!

Thank you for the birthday wishes - I had a great day! Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting and hoping we both make our goal!!
Just checked....40-+60% chance. Dang it!! Oh well, we can't let it faze us, right? I mean we will still be in WDW after all!!
Okay, I just got your message on FB about the weather! Whaaaat?? Is it a high chance everyday?

    I'm gonna go look!
Your boss is a very smart man. The companies that seem to do the best are the ones that remember their employees are people and treat them well.

I didn't end up packing for the kids because I had to finish my laundry. But I'm doing it today because I don't want to put it off since I have stuff to do this week. Each of the kids is going to help with their suitcase anyway so it should go quicker.

Trying to stay on track to lost 2 lbs. to make my goal of 15! Not always easy but hopefully I'll do it, LOL!

Congratulations on winning for the 3rd year in a row!! That is awesome! Uh-oh, you'll be going to your picnic with a target on your back next year! LOL, someone could hire a ringer who's actually a professional!!
I'm glad your cake turned out so well and I hope you have a great time at the picnic. You're lucky I think most companies have gotten away from company related events like that. It's unfortunate because I believe it helps with overall morale. But you know money is always the excuse.

6 days for us!! I'm excited, as you can probably guess. I'm doing laundry now and once I get off the computer then I'll begin packing the kids' stuff. After putting some of last weeks laundry away it occurred to me I can probably pack my stuff too!

I colored my hair last night so that's yet another thing to cross off my list. Next up this weekend, finding the cameras, memory cards (they should actually be together so we shouldn't have to look for them) and charge them. We're getting there, LOL....
I made a cake from scratch the year Lee turned 40, the homemade cake was one of his gifts. Since I didn't know about cake flour I used regular AP flour for a vanilla cake with real vanilla buttercream frosting. The texture was dense (from the regular AP flour) but it was SOOO GOOD! The flavor of the frosting was amazing since I used real butter and after a while real buttercream gets a bit of a crunch to it after sitting out. Amazing. And yet, I still haven't made another cake from scratch since, LOL.
Oh I just saw the most hilarious thing on PerezHilton.com!! It's a voice over of Belle singing the first song in Beauty and the Beast (can you believe I cannot remember the name of that song??) anyway, you should see it, I LOL'd.:ROFLOL:
The only thing I think you really have to worry about with the terror threat is to get to the airport very early! One time the kids and I were flying to visit my aunt and the threat level was orange at the time (a system they have since scrapped) and the line for security was backed up to baggage claim!! We got there 2 1/2 hours early and just barely made our flight, and I mean by seconds!! If they got the threat that's good because security is already hightened due to the anniversary. You will be okay. Of that I am sure.

So I transferred our Disney money today because I was so afraid that I would forget before we left! Anyway, it's done now and that's one thing off my list. :animwink:

I love that you've won your cake decorating contest two years in a row! Do you have a secret talent I'm not aware of?? Mmmmm, caaaake. :slurp: Sounds so good. Are you making two different flavors?
On the positive side of being super busy - it makes your day go by faster which means your trip will get here faster!! Oh yeah......

I have all the stuff I need to get done before our trip all written on my calender just to make sure I do not forget! This weekend is laundry to be able to pack for the kids, color my hair and charge the cameras. Yesterday I emailed all the kids' teachers to remind them the kids will be out for a week and we will also be picking them up early from school on the 16th.

Only 6 days of work left!! And 8 days till heaven!!
I hope the dr. can help you and that you are feeling better soon. Last night you looked a bit out of it and I could tell you just weren't feeling well. Maybe he'll have some good pharmecuticals that will help. I wonder if you have a sinus infection since you were feeling so bad?

I'm glad the bags will get used! I was most likely going to end up sending them to Goodwill. I always have the thought of getting rid of stuff at a garage sale or on Craig's List but I somehow miss all our neighborhood's set garage sale days (the most recent was a couple of weekends ago, and of course I didn't remember at all!) and I have YET to sell anything online. Buy - yes. Sell - not! Geez....

And the countdown begins - 9 days and 7 days of work left! When are you going to do the online check-in? It's killing me to wait, LMAO, but I think I'm going to do it when we are 4 days out (if I can hold out that long!).
I already told Lee, "Don't let me forget tomorrow is Tue. so I don't forget my meeting." So, as long as he remembers.....LOL

What places new are you trying? And you're cancelling Narcoosee's or Citricos? Some places we've been but not for that meal like Kona Cafe. We've eaten lunch there but not breakfast so I count that as new. Our new list includes
    La Cantina de San Angel
    Teppan Edo
    Kona Cafe (breakfast)
    Planet Hollywood
    Chef Mickey's (dinner)
    'Ohana
    Leaning Palm
Yak & Yet counter or Pizzafari
    Maya Grill
    Main St. Bakery
    The Plaza Restaurant
    California Grill
    Via Napoli
    Rose & Crown (dinner)
I told Lee and the kids this year I want to see stuff we haven't yet - Lion King or Nemo show (or both!), Journey Into Imagination and the Muppets 3D show. Last time we went to Rafiki's Planet Watch for the 1st time.

We are also trying 10 new restaurants this time! So excited!!

I tried on some of the stuff I want to take. One pair of shorts I was worried about are okay but a skort I have and wasn't as worried about may not work. I'll try it on again the week we leave.
That's my home number. My cell is 770-900-0224. Do you text at all?

You have to try Jersey Mike's! To me they have the best subs around. I love their No. #13 Italian, Mike's Way (minus the onions). They also make good cheesesteaks and turkey. I think I may try a roast beef and provolone next time if I'm feeling adventurous!

Our souvenier list isn't as long as I thought it was. 17 things on the list. It's a wish list, mostly, we may not get everything. Also I write stuff down so we don't forget about anything we may want. Some things are a must - tees, towels, pins, Christmas ornament and photo album. Anything else is icing on the cake.
I just put your number in our phone!! My number is 770-792-8674. Although it may change within the next couple of months as we are considering Magic Jack. I don't think you are able to keep your own number when you switch.

Hey, do you like Jersey Mike's? If so, go online and sign up for their birthday club - I just got a coupon for a FREE sub AND drink on my birthday!! WOOHOO! I love their subs! It's only good on your birthday and you have to show proof but what does that matter? Awesome!

So, I also ended up making a packing list yesterday along with a souvenier list. 70 items on the packing list! I also wrote on the calender reminders about going to the bank, packing for the kids next weekend, charge our cameras and emailing the teachers. So, I'm really getting set for our trip.
OMG - it just hit me! We are only 2 days away from being able to do the 10 day online check-in!!! I'm not going to do it that early but I can't believe it's almost here!
The rain won't bother me, we need it really bad. Maybe it will cool off a bit afterwards.

I'm kinda sweatin' what the weather is going to be like when we go. (Pun totally intended!) I keep thinking it's going to be so freakin' hot and me and my family will not be used to it. I mean, I'm not stressed about it, just thinking about it.

I tried on my dress with the new bicycle short type undies I bought for it. I didn't know if I could use those or have to get a slip for it. I thought, though, that in this day and age to make a sundress that needed a slip was a little crazy! Lee helped me decide that it's ok with just the undies - yay! What a relief!

After my online stuff I'm getting ready to print up our souvenier wish list. I go "list crazy" when it comes to our trips! LOL.....:hammer:
Thank you so much for the mug!! I absolutely LOVE it, it's perfect especially the colors - I love blues, greens and purples together, my favorite combination and with Stitch! WOOHOO!

I almost forgot to go to the book store to look for the book Sean wanted! But it was a bust, they didn't have anymore Naruto books.

I dodged a bullet at the emissions place. The guy said there are cracks on my gas cap and he tested it 3 times and it failed 3 times! Then he took it off and reattached it tighter (I think) and then it finally passed. Whew! He said I need to get a new gas cap before I get my truck tested next year.

Well, as I told you I have everything bought for our trip now. What a relief. Next up getting things ready. I'll probably pack for the kids next weekend and I've already started gathering up stuff to take. Yesterday I bought the kids each a 3 pack of gum. I always make sure they threw it away in a trash can though.
    No headache today. Yet. LOL!

Today I have to get my car inspected then registered. Gonna do that online this year so I don't have to be bothered to go to the DMV, so much better this way.

Got the kids' haircut and they both look great! It's going to take Tristan some time for him to get used to it but I think he'll come around soon. It will be cooler and much easier and faster to wash. I'm glad I did it.

You'll have to let me know if you got anything at the Disney store. I still need to get some Crocs for our trip so maybe I'll see you there!

Oh man, I haven't walked for 2 days! Thurs. because I had both the kids open houses but since we were late to both it was quick walking everywhere we went so I guess in a way I did kinda walk that day but I didn't last night because of getting the kids' haircut and picking up stuff I still needed that I didn't get earlier. I'll probably walk tonight.
