I don't think I am. Your main point was that Disney doesn't build hotels anymore and haven't for almost 2 decades. Two hotels were built during that timeframe adding about 1500 rooms to inventory.

Yes... and stopped because of 911. Then they built a new resort using the 3 buildings that were mostly done but abandoned and opened in 2012.

Is that also what they're doing along the south side of 528 between 436 and Narcoossee? I wonder how they're going to handle it around the 417 exchange. There is new housing right there that really compresses that space and they need to continue that 3rd lane to the exit.

I'm not seeing it, but I'll gladly be wrong if Disney is deep in development of new monorails that have a similar nose to the current bombardiers.

Maybe they could add some fans? Those have a much lower power draw than A/C. Or, maybe just put some of those small handheld fans in the emergency kit?

In what way? The windows in the drawing all look like the current monorail to me.

It took us 45 minutes one time to get from the Boardwalk to Disney Springs by bus. Universal just needs to pay for infrastructure improvements like Disney is doing. The fact of the matter is that it's not a great distance so it's something that can be fixed.

You can request a specific phase, but I don't think you'll know until check-in if they are able to accommodate. Sometimes they are flexible at check-in as well. It will depend on availability (holiday weeks will be full with Owners who have guaranteed units) and what specifically you have...

It's not really "through the city" though - it's just a few miles down Universal boulevard. It likely won't have the cohesiveness since you leave property and reenter, but it's roughly the same distance as Epcot to Magic Kingdom and a lot closer than Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom.

We need at least another decade to make sure that it doesn't cause cancer in the state of California.
