Candy Cane Inn vs. Sheraton Park

We'll do a character breakfast in the park, breakfast at hotel or head over to IHOP. Dinner will be either in the parks, Bubba Gump or Cheesecake Factory.

Candy Cane Inn vs. Sheraton Park

We ended up choosing Candy Cane Inn. Actually had started considering both Park Vue Inn and Grand Legacy. Really liked the pool and look of rooms at Grand Legacy, but there were too many negative reviews about it. Park Vue had some good reviews and we loved the location, but didn't care for the...

1st time guest - Is on site worth $2,000 more?

I spoke to a TA the other day who strongly recommended I not spend more than 2 days at Disneyland. I didn't understand this either. When we go to WDW, we always spend at least 3 days at the Magic Kingdom. Given there are more attractions at Disneyland, I don't see doing 3 or 4 days there being...

Candy Cane Inn vs. Sheraton Park

Thank you. That makes a lot of sense. One possibility is my MIL has a timeshare so we might be able to stay at the Worldmark. A bit further away, but if it's free, obviously worth it. If that doesn't work out, I think we've decided on the Candy Cane Inn.

Candy Cane Inn vs. Sheraton Park

Yeah I'm thinking more about the walking distance from the Sheraton.

Candy Cane Inn vs. Sheraton Park

Doesn't ART stop at a bunch of properties? I read it can take 30 minutes to get to the park, whereas CCI is about 5 minutes.

Candy Cane Inn vs. Sheraton Park

I think we would opt for the Deluxe room at CCI. Not sure why, but something about it looks very cozy. I also like the idea of the free frequent shuttle.

Candy Cane Inn vs. Sheraton Park

Which would you choose? I like the free breakfast and free shuttle at Candy Cane. I like the rooms and pool at Sheraton. Surprisingly, CCI is actually a bit pricier. Which would you choose?

1st time guest - Is on site worth $2,000 more?

After reading a bunch of reviews and watching a lot of videos, we narrowed it down to 3. Sheraton Park Hotel Howard Johnson Courtyard Marriott Courtyard wins for best room, but the pool itself is very small. Hojo's wins for price, but some of the rooms don't look very nice. Sheraton wins best...

1st time guest - Is on site worth $2,000 more?

I've just about given up. I know you can't go by reviews alone, but all of the places I've looked at within walking distance are rather dumpy. The whole area just looks rather bleh. My kids like to go back to the room and go swimming and are used to the hotels at WDW and Universal. I really want...

1st time guest - Is on site worth $2,000 more?

How far is Springhill Suites from the entrance? I read some very meh reviews about HoJo, so I'm a bit hesitant.

1st time guest - Is on site worth $2,000 more?

"Those Hotels with the safer Interior Corridors, Howard Johnson, Courtyard, Holiday Inn Express, Ramada Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Hyatt House, SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn, Desert Palms, Sheraton Park, and the Red Lion." Of these, what is the closest to Disneyland? Best pool?

1st time guest - Is on site worth $2,000 more?

That Courtyard did look nice, but I could stay at Paradise Pier for the same price. What I liked about Fairfield our the rooms are Disney decorated and the pool area was the best looking of the properties on that strip.

1st time guest - Is on site worth $2,000 more?

I see it's not the closest, but from the pics and vids I've seen, the Fairfield Inn looks like the best choice. Any other opinions?

1st time guest - Is on site worth $2,000 more?

Long time WDW veteran, 1st time Disneyland planner. Would LOVE to stay at the Disneyland Hotel for the ultimate immersive Disney experience, but the cost is as ridiculous as the Grand Floridian. So, opinions, for a 1st timer, is it worth the extra $2,300 more to stay at the Disneyland Hotel for...
