They probably refurbished it before donating it to his estate, the chimney soot on his face definitely looks more vibrant than it did previously.

Pretty funny that we're all talking about D*ck Van D*ke seeing as how this image surfaced: People on Twitter were questioning as to whether or not that was the actual animatronic from the ride seeing as how he's standing upright, but they could've just taken his clothes, skins, etc. and...

Any further info on the status of some of the GMR figures? I read something about some of them showing up at Property Control in a state of disrepair, but the details were extremely vague as to what AAs they were.

I'm going to guess conservatively and say... 100 minutes?

Someone recently posted a 360 video of the ride that included a walkthrough of the queue, the divider is gone and the entrance to the loading area is where the FP merge point had been. Old load entrance appears to have been sealed off:

When I rode Pirates last month, I was amazed at how fluid the movements were on a lot of the AAs considering their age. I know that the auctioneer, Redd and all the Jack Sparrows are A100s, have any of the other figures been upgraded as well?

There's this guy in the Renaissance scene- you can even see the zipper that runs along the back of his head.

How long was this queue? When I rode it last week, it was only a 15-minute wait but they had that back room open to help ease guest flow.

I'm on the side that believes he was moved so he could face the streets. If it was truly a matter of having a disfigured face, they would've moved him to his original position seeing how most of the AAs have likely been reskinned since its last refurb over 10 years ago.

Any idea if they plan on fixing the father animatronic in the final scene? Not only did he look off when I went on it a couple of months back, but his movements have gotten worse as well. He hasn't been facing the oven when it explodes (it was also like that during my April 2017 trip) and now...

Reports have come in saying that both the Ark of the Covenant and a foot from one of the Anubis statues have made their way to Dok Ondar's at DL's Galaxy's Edge. Anyone know if Doc Ondar himself is a reskinned GMR AA? Supposedly his movement is more limited compared to Hondo.

One more thing I heard: Julie Andrews' animatronic is currently sitting in the Epcot Imagineering building.
