It's the first attraction that didn't replace another attraction since 1989. First ride as a new build since Soarin' in 2006 (Soarin' replaced a show). So is this the first new build attraction at Epcot since Mission: Space in 2003?
Well... there was also the Soarin' expansion which didn't replace an existing attraction. It's the first attraction that didn't replace another attraction since 1989. First ride as a new build since Soarin' in 2006 (Soarin' replaced a show).
What does Crush have to do with France?I’ve re-evaluated my opinion. Rat is a fun ride and a great addition. Crush is a fun ride and also would have been a *good* addition. But given the expansion to the pavilion and superb theming of the area, the correct decision was to clone Rat over Crush.
I can give credit where it’s due. The ride? A solid C+/D- and all the parks need more of them.
And I’m not so obtuse as to not enjoy this…View attachment 584193
Although we could have done without the dreary weather. Would have been exemplary if WDI could have also recreated the rainy gray skies and chilly wind we had when there for real authenticity. Like the Mexico pavilion only miserable.
BatB doesn’t even look good. Looks like the first major misstep for TDS IMO.The ride is currently in a theme park in France. But I thought the choice was between Rat and Beauty and the Beast, not Rat vs Crush. The BatB ride would also have been a clone from Asia.
i dont agree with that. They took a small amount of land and did a good job with it imo. Great e-ticket ride and an even better theater, all in a well themed little area. I think its all pretty coolBatB doesn’t even look good. Looks like the first major misstep for TDS IMO.

We were here for DVC previews and rode it four times. It was a 10 minute wait. I fully expect it to be more crowded for AP previews, though (I'm going again a week from today for an AP preview)Ha, it'd be nice to have the opportunity to ride it twice. Where did you see this? Thanks!
I'll be there on Sept 17th for DVC previews. This is excellent news, thank you!We were here for DVC previews and rode it four times. It was a 10 minute wait. I fully expect it to be more crowded for AP previews, though (I'm going again a week from today for an AP preview)
You're quite welcome! Our arrival time was 6 pm and it was dead. Ten minute wait. You can stay as long as you want; you just have to arrive within your window. No food was open; they were selling bottled drinks and souvenirs, and there's restrooms within the preview area.I'll be there on Sept 17th for DVC previews. This is excellent news, thank you!
Is over an acre and a half for a dark ride really that impressive, especially one where most of the ride time is spent "dancing" around three not particularly large rooms for a minute each?i dont agree with that.
