CEOs need to be taken to task for wasting hundreds of millions of dollars. It's beyond ridiculous at this point.

Even the NBA bubble of players and games at WDW couldn't garner more PR for the sports attraction. Wouldn't be surprised if Chapek has other ideas for the NBA, formerly Disney Quest building. When the entire NBA Exp cast was laid off during covid, hopefully they found jobs elsewhere.

This though was largely money wasted by the NBA. The NBA Experience was not Disney’s idea. It was the NBA’s reaction to Universal abruptly terminating their lease at CityWalk.

I was speaking of CEOs in general...although Disney's CEOs certainly like to waste money on pet projects that don't pan out.

Personally I would love an NHL Experience, however it would fail too. The NHL is probably a better demographic for Walt Disney World vacationers but it would be doomed too.

I know this sounds crazy, but they should tear the building down and in its place build a multifloor indoor interactive theme park. With all sorts of arcade and VR games. Even an animation studio where you could learn to draw characters would be a pretty cool idea.
