Even the NBA bubble of players and games at WDW couldn't garner more PR for the sports attraction. Wouldn't be surprised if Chapek has other ideas for the NBA, formerly Disney Quest building. When the entire NBA Exp cast was laid off during covid, hopefully they found jobs elsewhere.

This though was largely money wasted by the NBA. The NBA Experience was not Disney’s idea. It was the NBA’s reaction to Universal abruptly terminating their lease at CityWalk.

I was speaking of CEOs in general...although Disney's CEOs certainly like to waste money on pet projects that don't pan out.

Everyone here was skeptical on this working from the beginning. But the mediocre reviews and high prices really never gave this thing a chance to have any kind of success.
