Might it come when they update the Calendar? Either Today or next Fri? Springs(for the Summer) and DAK(for the week)Hours are extended Starting June 27. Does that play into MK/Epcot before July or no?

It would be soo nice if it was Today!!!
The calendar was already set to accommodate fireworks. That’s why they have nicely staggered closing times. Buses cannot currently handle everything closing at 9.

Still is that Conference, Q&A Session on Monday the 14th with Bob lol. Not a clue if that would be a time and place where he’d announce fireworks. But it could be more of a brief random thing like Oh and we are excited to be bringing fireworks back soon. 🤷‍♂️

I still don't see the need for them to spend money right now to bring the fireworks back. But if so, it's the most charitable thing they've done since that 15% off coupon for the use of watercraft in Bay Lake. And that's saying a lot.

Fireworks are not charitable. They’ve never had fireworks purely for the guests benefit, they have them because they benefit Disney.

Hmm, DS switching hours on the 27th, first week of July, where you can see stuff in the sky from 🧐 lol. Eh probably has more to do with the crowds coming in that week.

They can effectively increase capacity without impacting lines (of course we will see how this plays out) since, particularly in summer, relatively few people arrive at MK at 9 am and stay until close. They hope this will encourage some to show up late to stay out late (as used to be the case). Currently, crowds reach a breaking point in the early afternoon. They need to give more people a reason to stay out late.

Do you know how much they make from dinner in the park and from evening gift shop sales to pacify whiny kids?they don’t want people leaving the park at 5 and heading to Chick-Fil-A.

Well, their dinky projection show and a few sparklers would be an easy foray back into "normal". Unless they mean Fantasmic. But that still applies.
