Wow, that's a much higher number then I would have expected.

The 16-24 and 25-34 age groups have seen a steady increase in 1st dose of 2 series. Others have slowly decreased as they've moved into the completed column. Good news is no age group has shown a stop in 1st doses yet. Even in the 85+ group there were an additional 1000 people started.Current Florida vaccine report -
Keep watch on the completed 1-dose series this week as the federally-supported vaccine sites switched back to the J&J vaccine today.

where do you live ? i'm in Montreal. It appears things will go faster and faster...Normally every Quebec residents could be vaccinated before June 24... i'm 33y old so i'm not on the list yet but i'm hoping to have my spike in June too !Today Canada will hit 29% with at least 1 vaccine dose. That's total population, including children under 18.
It was 5 days ago when I said it was 25%.
At the rate the country is going, I expect 50% or more with their first dose by June 1.

Whats helping is that the 40+ group that have been able to get AstraZeneca have embraced it and are filling appointments. Unfortunately the 50+ group wasn't doing the same.Ontario, but the numbers I mentioned are nationwide. I don't know the provincial breakdown % offhand.
I got my first dose at Walgreens who was scheduling Pfizer 4 weeks out. I found availability at CVS for 3 weeks, and then cancelled at Walgreens.I would be interested in see the statistics on how many people haven't gotten the second dose when scheduled. I assume (hope) the number is small.
I was not. But I know some on here still aren't convinced that a group of fully vaccinated individuals should take the masks off and not worry about distance. Were you being disrespectful to others indoors who were wearing a mask even though you still pose a risk of spreading the virus to others? If so, I don’t mind shaming you for that.
Is this means we will never get back to normal soon if vaccines will be end or flatline or the vaccines will be available. If this is cases, this means pandemic will never end in USA by years as surges/spikes continuing like Brazil and India. @GoofGoofPerfect summary of how the vaccine rollout has changed and why having an increasing amount of excess doses unused right now is not only not a bad thing but necessary at this stage. In order to make doses available to anyone who wants them whenever and wherever they want one you have to have lots of excess supply. Having unused available appointments is not a sign of failure, it has been the plan all along.

Could you guarantee that everyone around you was fully vaccinated? If not, then you’re not following CDC guidelines.I was not. But I know some on here still aren't convinced that a group of fully vaccinated individuals should take the masks off and not worry about distance.
Please stop. You ask 20times a day when the situation will come back to normal and if the restrictions will be ease before the summer end. Even if we reply to you, you ask the same question again 1h after. Is this means we will never get back to normal soon if vaccines will be end or flatline or the vaccines will be available. It looks like this is something the CDC is letting people handle on their own. There is no guideline stating that vaccinated people should request proof of vaccination from others or ask them particular questions.Could you guarantee that everyone around you was fully vaccinated? True. I think of the post vaccination rules now as being the Grandma can see and hug the grand kids again rule. Since 65+ went first it was hard to tell all those people they were safe but still couldn’t see their grandkids without a mask. As we get more of the younger demographics vaccinated the rules will evolve. It looks like this is something the CDC is letting people handle on their own. Right now, the recommendation is that vaccinated people avoid medium or large gatherings, so it’s likely the people getting together would know each other well enough to take their word for it.
Some people just need extra reassurance right now. A little more patience would do the world a lot of good. Please stop. No one on this forum can satisfy your questions.
The only thing we know is that the situation is getting better and better, we just need to wait and see. Restrictions will slowly be eased soon.
The vaccines aren't ending. The article is talking about how we've got extra doses and we're making it easier for people to be vaccinated at smaller locations, rather than focusing on mass-vaccination sites. It's just a shift in how we're approaching getting people vaccinated. Is this means we will never get back to normal soon if vaccines will be end or flatline or the vaccines will be available. Yep, that’s a good line. We talked about getting to a point where vaccines were available anywhere and people would be able to get an appointment really easily. I think it just happened so fast that it surprised a lot of people. I also think maybe the percent vaccinated is lower now than where people expected it to be when we hit this point. I think the slower pace is disappointing because we are in a rush to get it done to reach herd immunity but we just have to be more patient and realize the vaccination process won’t be done by the end of May. I had some hope that we could legit reach herd immunity by June 1. That seems unlikely now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be in really good shape by then and we don’t need to reach full and lasting herd immunity to see cases drop way down and start seeing the relaxing of restrictions.I like this analogy...
"The start of the vaccine campaign was like a blockbuster movie that millions of people saw in theaters (remember those?). Now we’re heading for the phase when the people who missed it on the big screen are streaming it at home: Oh, you finally got your shot? Yeah, I got it when it came out."

I got an automated call from Walgreens today reminding me that if I did not get the second dose at this time I could still be at risk. I thought it was good they were trying to follow up with people.
Edit: Would Walgreens consider me a no show? Maybe. There was nothing when I cancelled where I could give them a reason why. Things like this could cause inaccurate reporting for 2nd shot skippers.
Possibity by July or August if herd immunity reaches?Yep, that’s a good line.
