something else. you are high off your butt if you think you will ever hear zipp-adee-doo-dah in a Disney park again ,outside of it being on the ride itself until it shuts down that is.What will they play? Silence?

Think about it. Its no longer part of the esplanade music. Its no longer a part of the carousel. why would they have it in Critter Country still? You will only hear it on the ride itself when he park re-opens. then that will be taken a way too for good when they shut it down for the re-theme.What!? They might as well mute it on the ride too at this point.

This does have me worrying that if they do end up doing something tacky (akin to WDW’s Jungle Cruise), like putting up scaffolding in the finale scene and playing ambient noise as logs full of passengers wiz by the active construction areas, I’d rather they just close the ride for however long is required.Think about it. Its on top of a tree. Have you seen the movie? No it doesn't. The boat being on top of the mountain is sooo stupid.
It’s like every single day there’s a new piece of news about the U.S. Disney parks that lessens my interest in visiting them anymore. Almost like they’re deliberately trying to destroy everything good about them.Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah has allegedly been removed from the Fantasyland Courtyard/Carousel loop.
did you see the concept art? its on the mountain and its still a stupid idea whether its a tree or a mountain. why are you responding to something i posted months ago?
IMO they'll extend the Winnie the Pooh queue music to be the area loop for all of Critter Country.Think about it. Its no longer part of the esplanade music. They keep hyping up Mickey's Runaway Railway when they bring up the retheme, because it's got the same team of Imagineers, I believe. And that ride looks mediocre at best. Not exactly a confidence-builder.their recent offerings do not compare to the work of Baxter and the second gen of WDI (let alone the first Gen).
I doubt the Magic Kingdom's will be, though. Apparently, they're afraid to refurbish Space Mountain even though it needs to be refurbished because the park already has low capacity.the park should be fine with capacity even if Splash is down.
Of course, in the movie the tree isn't on top of a mountain...
In all fairness they are responding to something you posted 2 weeks ago.why are you responding to something i posted months ago?
When has Modern Disney done anything logical?Your reasoning is not wrong. But just seems illogical to have it playing on the ride but not right outside of the ride.

That’s my main problem with this whole thing. Magic Kingdom.I doubt the Magic Kingdom's will be, though. Apparently, they're afraid to refurbish Space Mountain even though it needs to be refurbished because the park already has low capacity.
It's incredible, actually. Better than anything in Disneyland's Fantasyland. They keep hyping up Mickey's Runaway Railway when they bring up the retheme, because it's got the same team of Imagineers, I believe. And that ride looks mediocre at best. Not exactly a confidence-builder.
2 week ago eh? Eh I withdrawl my protest. The boat on top of the mountain is still a stupid and tacky idea.In all fairness they are responding to something you posted 2 weeks ago.
As for the concept art it is just that, concept art. It doesn't mean that is what will be the final outcome. We all know from past experience that the concept art (at least in modern times) is usually not 100% representative of the final product.
So who knows it might turn out better than current expectations. Obviously there are strong feelings on both sides, and I do see both sides. I just urge everyone to try and see both sides. Doing so may ease the pain for some, and may provide more understanding for others.
A little more peace amongst Disney Fans would be nice.![]()
I agree it seems silly at first. But as long as the scale isn't off I don't think it'll actually look tacky. The boat on top of the mountain is still a stupid and tacky idea.
There's some unused space in the Magic Kingdom's Frontierland, right? Near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad? They should just use that space to make a small "New Orleans bayou"-themed land and build a Princess and the Frog ride THERE. Or tear out the Princess Fairytale Hall and stick it THERE.At Magic Kingdom, however, Splash Mountain is in Frontierland. Princess and the Frog in Frontierland? Really? The IP belongs in Fantasyland, or maaaaybe Liberty Square if you made the “New Orleans square equivalent” argument. But Frontierland just doesn’t make sense to me at all.
I'm still in favor of Western River Expedition plans being revived for OrlandoI think itll turn out great. Splash in DL makes sense cause it fits the area, but in MK I would hope theyd theme it to something else
