Since I wouldn't let hubby buy me one of the "animatronic" Grogus for Christmas (I think he's adorable, but we've got plushies coming out our eyeballs), and I collect the Disney Lego Mini-figures, the Easter Bunny brought me this...



Grogu is stinkin' adorable and so teensie I wanna die!

Dh got the animated on for Christmas I ordered it in February

Hubby actually saw one in a store somewhere. I love it, but seriously...we have SO MANY plushies already. The Mandalorian, speeder bike, and Grogu will find a home on display in my office where I can see them...the other pieces will be on display in the playroom.

(I'm actually designing a shelf to display all my Lego mini-figures...my office is small and packed to the gills, and I want them to have a safe spot to live that I can add to here and there. Currently, they line the top of my monitor and a small section of chair rail next to my desk.)

I had a “to heck with it” moment - in a good way.

I didn’t eat all day except a handful of pistachios this morning and half a cookie. Worked most of the afternoon until 8pm. (Sales at the one open store were perfect.) Brian had school from 7am to 5.

Looked on Uber eats for a traditional Easter ham or something - no luck so late on a holiday Sunday night.

We went to our “special occasion” Thai place and I went nuts:


I don’t know why the color is so bad except that we sat outside and there wasn’t a ton of light. But these were 3 Maine lobster tails in a Thai red curry with asparagus, broccoli, etc. and brown rice. (Plus a cucumber martini.) Brian had a porterhouse. Whatever the bill was...to heck with it! Well worth it. And now it’s time to pass out.

Yes, it’s late, and it’s been a very emotional day. We were able to finally hug and be close to Emmy, and other family, today for the first time in well over a year back at “Family Central”...I will not post photos of our first hugs, as they are too emotional, but here is DWifey and I with Emmy at my folks earlier today...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all the season of the golden girls will be on disney+ this summer. But sounds like you got a good deal on the dvds

Probably won't be here in the Netherlands, though. Our offerings are really different on both Netflix and Disney+, or really any streaming service. That's why VPNs are so popular. But the one we use doesn't work on Disney+...it won't even load if I have the VPN turned on.
