The Yacht club pool was at capacity several days that we went. We had to wait 30 minutes for a place to open up to even get into the pool.
It definitely wont be at Disney. Bye Bye Disney Money!I’m sorry you had that experience. We were able to find plenty of breaks from the crowd and never waited long for rides. I’m sure everyone has different experiences. Hopefully your next vacation will be more relaxing.

I live in a burb. I'm not going to name the city.interesting as it only takes me 6.5 hours from Atlanta. what city do you live in?
The lines are long because each group is 6 feet apart. When we were going to eat at the Hollywood Brown Derby for lunch, someone asked if all these people across the way from the restaurant were in line for a parade. They commented no they're in line for a queue for a ride. We went last March, the week before Disneyworld shut down and were one of the first to ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad. At about lunch the queue to the ride was as long as the opening day that we went. When we first rode the ride, we waited hours to ride the new ride.

Next vacation? We need a vacation from our current one. Our dog had to have surgery before we went. We had to keep him sedated since he had stitches. When we arrived after 9 hours, we told our resort that we had a reservation within 20 minutes and my wife needed one of our bags to change. The Yacht club wouldnt even have our bags to our room in time for the reservation and we had to call multiple times to Shula's Steakhouse, and luckily they held our reservation for us. The Yacht club didn't even care. We just wanted a break. . .It definitely wont be at Disney. Bye Bye Disney Money!
Social distancing? Obviously you didn't see people at the Yacht Club Pool.Because capacity is limited for social distancing

Sounds like WDW is back to normalCrowded areas? How could you not miss crowded areas. When you waited in line before the gate opened, it was overrun at Hollywood Studios for our last day.
Why did you give bell services your bags with clothes you needed?Next vacation? We need a vacation from our current one. Our dog had to have surgery before we went. No, it isn't a problem. Florida is really lagging behind in disbursing the vaccines.
Let's not go too crazy. With a few outliers on the high or low end, the vast majority of States are within 3% or so of FL. It isn't like FL is drastically lower than other large population States. According to the CDC, FL is 28%, CA is 30.7%, NY is 31.1%, TX is 25.8%, MI 28.6%, IL 31%.Florida is 39th. Thanks Ron
Possibly rejoining just yesterday and looking to make a splash. Is Katiebug here?
Exactly, only CA and TX have administered more doses. Looking at the % of population vaccinated alone cannot be the one factor to look at. So we in New Mexico have the highest % in that area. Whooptie Doo, we have a far smaller population, so swinging that % one way or the other is more easily attained. Florida's focus on elderly first takes a bit longer to distribute as those folks aren't as mobile. Now that younger ages are eligible, if they opt in, doses could get in arms at an even higher rate.Let's not go too crazy. Is it great? No, but, it's not like there is some kind of disaster going on. Some of it could be people not seeking out the vaccine right now because they think it is too difficult or just don't want it. @JoeCamel, you just posted yesterday about a bunch of walk up slots available near you. Every time I look at the CVS website, there are multiple locations throughout FL with appointments available without any kind of virtual waiting room.
It seems like the percent used has dropped a lot recently. That seems to imply either a reporting delay or possibly that the requirements were too restricted. Lots of the states near the top have expanded to other groups faster while FL has stuck to age only and it seems based on posts here that there are a lot of appointments available. If that’s the case it’s a timing issue and will correct itself once they open to everyone. I think it’s too soon for demand to have dried up. Eventually that could happen and then the percent unused will continue to grow until the federal government stops shipping as many doses to the state. I don’t think we are there yet. I hope not.Let's not go too crazy. With a few outliers on the high or low end, the vast majority of States are within 3% or so of FL.
