EPCOT New Park Entrance coming to Epcot

Do we know for sure it's the new permanent entrance BGM today? I seem to remember previous years had festival specific music in the entrance plaza, and F&G does start today.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see Ridley specifically mentioned the new music in his Instagram post.

It's sounding like it's based off the opening music of the Epcot experience. That's a good thing. So far

I think those flags would pop a little more if the background was a solid color and the icons white, though perhaps the new nighttime lighting prompted the white.

As much as I’ve grumbled elsewhere about Epcot, the redone entrance does look good.

Unfortunately, from what we can tell, the new Entrance BGM is composed entirely of preexisting material. Which I find to be ridiculous.

There better be a World Celebration loop that actually reflects the park it represents. You know, with themes from the attractions......

I will give them this though, the flags look great and the lighting seems promising.

That music really worries me though, that loop was so special.

So I won't go back on what I said like 10 minutes ago. It sounds good. We just need to see if there's any kind of original themes in it. If not, it'll still be nice but lacking.

I mean, everything else in the entrance project has been great. They have to slip up somewhere right?

Most BGM has always been sourced from existing material.

Chunks of the innoventions loops, the entirety of WoL, Soarin' parts, and pre-RoE strike me as the obvious ones in Epcot. What else are there?

Edit: But to not have your entrance loop be completely original is very disappointing. DHS got a nice loop featuring Disney movies but in a jazz/swing format. It's not my favorite but I still enjoy it.

Yeah, I’m picking more than anything. It’s not like they haven’t done this before with the Illuminations before the show loop, or the Soarin’ exit loop.

Also, it’s tough to have an entrance loop with your pavilion’s themes when at least two or three are either still under construction, haven’t opened or had their refresh postponed.

If we get some themes in there, I will be more ok with this loop. It just should have a Epcot theme(s) included.

I don’t want the music to be general. EPCOT’s loop is instantly recognizable at least the old one was. Still waiting to hear the full thing.
