Beauty and the Beast live has been rumored to be replaced for a long time now. What are the rumors for it's replacement?Yet another classic Disney attraction may soon close at Hollywood Studios

Personally I would want this to replace it. Especially if the Fantasyland Theater at Disneyland is being demolished for their Fantasyland expansion.
I know I just posted it to ask if the rumored show ideas are still being considered.
Or a Princess and the frog musical would be a fantastic replacement. The movie does not get enough recognition. It's one of my top favorite Disney movies. It's WAY better than Frozen IMO.

We definitely don’t need another Frozen attraction—anything but!
I agree no more Frozen. I still say Mickey and the Magical Map would be a fantastic replacement to the show.

Mickey and the Magician from Walt Disney Studios Paris would be a welcome clone. I prefer new and unique stuff but since they aren't going to spend the money on developing new shows for quite a while.
It also has a Beauty and the Beast segment as a reference and to appease the people who can't bear change.

That would be a great show as well. But it's an inside show so they would have to enclose the theater somehow. That's why I prefer Mickey and the Magical Map because it's built for an outside theater and it's a bit better IMO. Plus Disneyland is going to remove the Fantasyland theater and the show will have to go somewhere.

I vote to bring the Aladdin show from Disneyland over to HS. It's perfect (and timeless) for the stage. And the Genie is absolutely hilarious.

Mickey and the Magician at DSP is a really wonderful show. I would love to see some sort of Multi-IP show like that to replace a single IP show like Beauty and the Beast.

The area back there is roughly three acres, closer to four if the Fantasmic walkway is moved. They could put so much there than only having a single theater is wasteful and inefficient. I vote to demolish (given they put something else there and do not leave it abandoned).

The Beauty and the Beast show at Disney Cruise is fantastic. One of my top favorites when I went on a cruise. I know it's based on the live action movie but it is so well done.
Wait. Has that been confirmed? I've heard rumors off and on for years but nothing concrete.
