Daughter in law is a college professor all her classes will be on line --can't the public schools do the same thing
Not in all cases. The local public school system by me usually has students that are lower income. They do have a website, but I have no idea how much of it is being used.

That local public school system in the community tried to keep their school system open because they are concerned that the students wouldn't fed by their parents. I got that information from my local radio stations and tv news station. My point is online schooling not a good idea for that school system considering how bad the school system portrayed the parents in this case through the media.

If you are wondering, the public system school in question is known as one of the worst in the entire state of Wisconsin from a math, reading and writing standpoint.

There is not a speck of frozen food at the local Trader Joe's or bread or water. The insanity continues --how long do people think bread will last before it gets moldy and if you think the water system is going to be shut down surely the electric will also. How long do you think frozen food will last 2 or 3 days the most before it is thawed and ruined. Mass hysteria
Bread can be frozen. Not my preference, but I did buy 1 extra loaf and put it in the freezer just in case.

How about Cruise Lines? I do NOT want to go on a cruise this spring. The following is just random curiosity: Are cruises leaving from US ports now shut down for a limited amount or a given amount of weeks? Does it vary? Can individual states impose a temporary shut down on cruise ports?

That’s an issue in big cities for sure.

Here’s what Cincinnati Public Schools are doing for children in low income families -

The Mayor of Cincinnati is on tv right now,

here’s his comments about youth sports-

“Players, coaches, immediate families only”

However, all sports have already canceled.
No one can convince me that so many of the cancellations were not a result of an overly hysterical public. The proof is right here. 🤦‍♀️

Wait, so the mayor is saying organized sports can continue as long as only coaches, players, and parents are present?

Yes!! He was saying that they didn’t need to all shut down, that we need to be cautious, not have overwhelming groups,, but that the sports could continue- even indoor facilities!!!!. But they’re all cancelled anyway!!!!!!

T’s school is not in Cincinnati.. we live in a different county... but we’re all part of “Greater Cincinnati”. All of the sports, school, Rec, and select, and all indoor facilities have canceled all practices and games in the greater Cincy area thru Mid April at the earliest.., at least on the Ohio side, not exactly sure of the latest update for Kentucky and Indiana.

This is so frustrating.
