I just can't.....

This saddens me so much I cannot even begin to describe it. This country has become the most powerful, weakest nation in the world. We accept every stupid statement and immoral action. We follow the loudest sound and no longer even know how to think logically. I hope everyone enjoyed the brief time when we were positive conveyors of hope and influence in the world. We need to change the national anthems words to "And the home of the scared stiff". What happened to us?

Staples was selling toilet paper packs for $25 each.

If that's true, they'd probably not want to do that in MA. The MA Attorney General got in front of the cameras the other day making it crystal clear, that any individual or vendor who inflates prices (to an unacceptable level, compared to the usual price) will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

I remembered, but that style of a glitch did happen, but not the year they expected:hilarious:.

An unexpected 2yK style glitch happened back on January 1st of this year:rolleyes:. I found out from my younger brother that a video game called WWE2k20 actually was unplayable when the year turned to January 1st 2020. What happen was a programming bug in the game that does not accept 2020 as a year and people had to download an update to make their game "playable" again.

I had playable in quotes because the that 2yk style bug was one over 9 full hands worth of glitches found in WWE2k20:jawdrop:. The game already was broken before the 2YK style glitch based on what I read and the youtube videos I saw.

I saw youtube video on the glitches for this game. I saw so many glitches that it seemed like the game publisher said "screw quality control, we want this game to be released on time".

On Y2K, hubs and I were at Madison Square Garden, at the Billy Joel New Year's Eve concert! We had a blast and were oblivious if anything else was going on in the world at that point in time! :joyfull:

I think we have lost that common sense, self reliant, can do, take responsibility for ones self attitude our fore fathers/mothers had IMO it's sad

As for your thoughts, each person has to think for himself or herself, what the best approach is. We're still a nation of individuals, and we all have our own opinions for what is best for our own situation.

Despite what you see on the news, that's not everyone. And even if it was a majority, I can't fault them if that gives them some sense of security. Maybe because, I know all this will blow over in time. Once a vaccine comes out (probably next year I guess), this will all eventually get under control (there will be some spikes and lags in medical cases in the interim, of course). Until it all gets manageable, just do what's best for you.

P.S.: Not that I'd ever take advantage of a friend, but I have a roll of toilet paper here that I'll sell you for $50. ) :p

Other things have happened as well. Genetically change has occurred. I think it was a line from Last Man Standing, when he said. "All any nation in the world needs to do to take over the country is come armed with a jar of Skippy".;)

Since no one has been able to explain why a freight car load of TP is required for an illness that will individually run it's course in two weeks and has no extraordinary need for bathroom tissue. It's not even connected to a symptom. When this is over there are going to be places that won't need to buy any TP for the foreseeable future. Then they will be giving it away. Or using it to TP peoples yards on Halloween.

I think like Minnie mentioned, it's just for peace of mind. Same with the water. Like Scar says... be prepared. I know in my area all the health officials are recommending everyone has enough food and supplies for two weeks shut in to your house. We get a Costco thing of toilet paper about once a year for our house, so that would definitely be overkill for us, but maybe they poop a lot more 🤷‍♀️:hilarious:

I'm all for anything that keeps the masses from panicking, and if that's a weird run on toilet paper, so be it. Feel prepared so you don't panic.

That said though, that video is nuts.

Yeah, I don't understand the water thing. It comes out of the tap just fine!

Have you gone on any rides yet? I'm not sure what time the park opens, even if you're there very early (in queue?).

We rode Mickey’s Runaway before park open and we were on the first train. We got a boarding group but we weren’t as lucky as the other day, we got boarding group 89. We might not be able to ride because it might be during our dessert party. Oh we did Tower as well. Now B is running around to the shops in Galaxys Edge, I’m chilling out with some coffee.

Ahem...

Go to a CM with an iPad. Let them know you have reservations for the dessert party. Ask them very nicely if there's any way they can put you in an earlier boarding group.
