They mentioned that in my home inspection, that our house was made before they cheaped out on lumber

Not a matter of “cheaping out”, the availability of old growth lumber has greatly dwindled.

I love Culver's. So many good things to choose from beyond even their wonderous burgers, cheese curds and chicken strips. The Frozen Custard in the warmer is top notch.
My first time at Culver's was at the Wisconsin Dells or the the Wisconsin Dells area back in the early to mid 1990's time frame. Culver's did not have a location in anywhere close to where I live at the time. I recalled my parents saw the place and decided to try them out and we loved the butterburgers.

I love their concrete mixers, but I usually don't order them. I have to be careful of how much dairy I eat in a day.

I'm afraid to ask but what's a butter burger?

Thank you and yes it was part of my birthday gift:joyfull: The guys apologized that the fabric on my wish list that was ordered wasn't here to go with it, believe me it was the least of my worries, happy enough to get the movie, complete surprise and was just happy to have one day we could have a mostly lazy day this week. My dh is up to season 5 and will watch the with me when he's caught up. With 4 family birthdays this week it's insanity to say the least.

Happy belated 21st birthday, Figgy...!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious:;):)

I am at the mall. My wife and daughter are shopping for a dress door the Senior Ball. My wife requested I select my own Birthday presents. Even though my birthday is not until the 19th.
I chose this. The cashier pointed out if I opened up a JC Penny credit card I can get the shirt...the tie and the shorts for a total of $25.48 .

No! No! that's not true about tools but you can have way two many sewing machines the wife has her sewing room full of them-- lord only knows what they all do
I once had 21 Singer sewing machines in my basement. All peddle power and operational. I bought them at auctions in Vermont for a song. I don't think I spent over $25.00 for any of them. I had a friend that went to a flea market every other weekend just outside of Boston where we sold them for $300.00 and up. They were on everyone's back porch in Vermont, but fashionable in Massachusetts.
