Disney has hand sanitizer everywhere now.

If you want to make your own here is the recipe

2/3 cup rubbing alcohol
1/3 cup aloe vera gel

Mix well to make your own magic hand sanitizer
Add 8-10 drops of essential oil of lavender if you want a scent
Put homemade hand sanitizer in pump bottle

Enjoy!

What I don't like about the theme parks or anywhere where you see automatic handsinks ( which is many public places ) is that the water that comes out is cold and cannot be controlled. Washing you hands in warm soapy water per the CDC can be a challenge.

I doubt that type of complaint will be common. There are always a few nut jobs that will complain about being sanitary but I would bet few are going to shame themselves for Disney being conscious of cleanliness.

Disney must have the only ones near me The 2 Target's, CVS, Walgreens, WalMart are still wiped out or have very little where they are gone the same day.

Did people not use hand sanitizer or wash hands before this? Well, I've seen some people not wash their hands.

My work just spent over $50k installing hand sanitizer all over all of its buildings. Which is cool because now at least all the people not washing their hands after using the restroom (looking at you, finance lady) can use that

For those of you who have done Universal.... I have two questions....

Are there any non-roller coaster rides you'd recommend me to avoid (i.e. neck hurter)?

Are there any coasters there that are mild like 7DMT that I could ride?

Stay away from The Forbidden Journey in the Wizarding World. I was told it was like if Star Tours and FoP had a baby, but it was so not what I expected and it went almost upside down, and there's just a lot of funky movement.
The Doctor Seuss coaster is a mild one. It's not really like 7DMT...it's pretty slow, but you get some nice views of the park.

I was watching a report by some physician on the news yesterday. Just an fyi only -- apparently cold water and soap works just as well as warm water. Only very hot water (that you couldn't be able to tolerate) would kill more bacteria, when used with soap for cleaning hands.

There's hippogrith in IOA and the kiddie coaster in studios neither is as good. ET is a dark ride worth doing. MIB is sort of like Buzz, Mummy borderline and for you as good as it is may have to be a pass, Hulk was smooth, Jurassic Park dinosaur meets Splash I'll tag in in my old TR with a page number for UNI

@dryerlintfan I would add about MIB, it IS a lot like buzz, except there's a LOT of spinning, and you don't control it yourself. I don't really remember whether or not there were abrupt stops after the spins, but I think there might have been. It's pretty smooth for the most part, but I don't know if you can handle the spinning and stopping.

I have pneumonia. Don’t have the flu though, which is what I thought I had.

Good grief! Do you have the "walking" pneumonia kind, or the other? Be really careful to follow your physician's directions. Pneumonia can be very serious. (Fyi: This was ages ago, but when I was 3, I nearly died from it.)

I hope you feel better soon. It can really tire you out. Please do take good care and please rest. Don't push yourself, which I realize is not your usual routine.

Yes airborne but cough and sneeze, wipe nose, touch mouth and it becomes also a surface disease and that is why they are calling for everyone to keep washing their hands. Think of a kid coughing into their hand or sneezing and then doing gymnastics on a shared mat in a gym. How often are those mats sanitized between gymnasts and how often are those gymnasts washing their hands after touching common mats and equipment as an example? Gross.

Where youngest used to go and they had a gymnastics program, the equipment was wiped down every evening. Parents cleaned the gym to help offset tuition. Every night they would sanitize the mats.

@SteveBrickNJ Could those Bubakoos be any closer by The Shore in Jersey? Manasquan, Wall, Pt. Pleasant, Brick, Tom's River. If we still lived in Wall, we would probably be only 10-15 away from one. Unfortunately none near us here in PA. Philly is 3 hours away.

My pop still has a major ratchet socket set that he purchased in 1953 (he woulda’ been about 20 years old at the time) that I have used many times on my vehicles when I was still at home way back when ...67 years, it’s had the hell used outta’ it, and none of it has ever failed...just like my beloved folks...!!!!!!!

Speaking of tools, do you, @John park hopper , or @Goofyernmost ever use Snap-On Tools? Hubs is like a kid in a candy store when their truck comes around. (He doesn't buy as much as he used to -- he has more tools than a hardware store at this point. ) But they've always stood by their tools, and I know once or twice they replaced a worn/damaged one for free. (Along with his Craftsman tools, he's used Snap-on for years for everything from car mechanics to electronics building/repair.)

I have quarantined myself with my zpack, inhaler, steroids, and 3 reusable water mugs.

He will do everything on his own tonight and tomorrow )which isn’t uncommon)

Have some Snap-on-Tools also --You can never have enough tools. Got my first set of Craftsmen tools when I was 14 (50+ years ago) for Christmas still have them and use regularly. Your husband is a smart man but I'm sure you know that.
