Does anyone know what kind of tree on the left of the photo is? It's been one of my favourites since I was a kid and first visited the lower mainland, as we don't have these elsewhere in BC!

Just saw a commercial for the latest “The Invisible Man” movie...maybe certain movies should be rated Rx...as in, you’ll need pharmaceuticals after you see ‘em...!!!!!
It would also be good if the Hollywood people could come up with a new movie sometimes .... remakes are o.k., but I like new storylines as well.

This week's winner of the klutz of the week award goes to ME. I have a gash on the top of my forearm In happier news today's cooking is finished and I have the leeks to go with tomorrow night's dinner on the stove
