Seems unlikely they would open it in June or July... I would think they’d either start a new show at the beginning of the summer season (Memorial Weekend), or hold off until Fall.

I gathered from intimations amongst insiders that that was the original plan.

Then all of a sudden, The Site of Dread and Gloom said this early Spring, which was a surprise to me. If that rumor was true at one point, maybe WDW realized how unpopular EF was and wanted to dump it ASAP. But now, construction schedules are keeping that from happening.

So, wouldn't be surprised at all if Oct 1 is the date. Or, perhaps the August date when F&W starts.

My luck it'll be Friday of Memorial Weekend or around July 4th. Not my ideal dates but then again, it might not be a bad thing.
