Josh is a very hands on kind of person. Very much someone that likes to be seen in the parks and interacting with guests and cast members. Before DL he worked as AK VP, and had other various roles around WDW.

It's never too late. Think of what they could do with the space of the Animation Courtyard.
Just like Mickey was going to go in a different place, a new GMR could go in a different place. It's really just a choice they make not to do that.
With money, space, motivation, and imagination, they can build revived concepts of almost any attraction really. It would be neat to see them do it someday, although my vote is JII in Epcot to start.

There is so much wrong with this video. Goodbye forever to the Disney look we all were accustomed to for CM's. Noticed it on my trip last week, too. So much inconsistency in regards to facial hair, shirts tucked or untucked, and even CM's just standing around with their hands in their pockets, leaning on walls twirling their hair, etc. Unfortunately there's more...
I am much less worried about the "Disney Look" as I am about the "Disney Hospitality/Friendliness/Attitude". We learned nothing from the video but I liked they did it anyway.

I liked GMR but did not love it and yes it would of been better to keep it and have MMRR be a new build ,but imo GMR was very outdated and needed lots of updates.

Well when you consider there is already a Star Wars themed land in the same park, Disney’s inability to use the Avengers properties in WDW, a huge portion of Disney’s box office being centered around live-action remakes of animation, the majority of Disney’s top live action properties (examples being Indy and Pirates) already having stand-alone attractions in the park, and the acquisition of Fox coming well after MMRR began coming into fruition leaves essentially a bunch of second-rate properties.
TGMR was my second favorite ride in WDW prior to its closing but the ride definitely needed an immense amount of work to ensure its longevity. Definitely more complex than a replacement of IPs.
If the acquisition of Fox came before the demolition of TGMR things might have been different.
Most of the TGMR movie scenes had been owned by Paramount in the end. The only Fox property was Alien, and Disney had a separate deal for that (and each of the other dioramas which didn't rely on ownership of the controlling studio). So, IOW, purchasing Fox would have had zero affect on TGMR.

I can’t imagine, given the style of the cartoons, and the rest of the ride for that matter that it isn’t a projection face.
Huey, Dewey, and Louie (who's designs resemble their appearances in DuckTales 2017) are featured in this promo.
Ummmm....can we acknowledge that Mickey is smiling at the fact that Minnie is getting sucked away into a tornado??

You sound like the type of person who yells at CM's because your child isn't tall enough for Space Mountain. They're humans, not robots. People like you is why customer service can be a dehumanizing experience.
