EPCOT New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

I’m hoping we get to see what actually happened to Buzzy and Hypothalamus in the near future instead of the endless theorizing and debating we’ve been doing about it. And I hope Sonswa and BDD keep their behinds out of Wonders for good this time.

I am sure you will see Buzzy again. Somewhere.

The most recent Jim Hill podcast brought up how the new Future World hub, in its mostly grassy configuration, will become the next home of Food and Wine. I know we wont even see if this rumor is true or not for a couple years until Future World stops being one giant construction site, but thoughts?

Tent will stay. It’s not just for festivals.

So, work has astonishingly already started. Looks like Pure & Simple was dealt a hit to the wall closest to the entrance area. Construction walls and caution tape lining the area from the edge of the bar to the end of the seating area closest to Cranium Command

It would be cool if they found a way to integrate the mobile into the new pavilion but that probably won’t happen. One can certainly dream though

The Tron roller coaster should have been next to the GotG coaster

I would have put them both in Tomorrowland and put Space Mountain in Future World.

I actually would have been down for Tron in Epcot. Honestly, Tron and GOTG should’ve swapped!

Tron was looked at for Epcot and DHS. Fleetingly.

I think I would feel just as equally awful to see GotG in Tomorrowland, for many reasons

Tron was looked at for Epcot and DHS. Fleetingly.

If it had gone to Epcot, I imagine it would've taken over UoE or WoL, or both?

They both thematically fit the opposite lands better (Tomorrowland is already a hodgepodge and Tron could be the Digital Pavilion). I feel like stylistically the buildings could have been easier to integrate that way too.

I’d feel better about it in Tomorrowland. It’s already charactered up, Plus it would’ve gone into that out-of-the-way path. Kind of like Haunted Mansion is to Liberty Square.

Yeah, but GotG doesn’t fit that theme whatsoever, just like it doesn’t with Future World. Plus the box in Tomorrowland would suck too.

The difference is that with Tron and Guardians, where ever they went would carry the burden that one area would have their thematic integrity screwed up further. Unfortunately Future World doesn’t have the liberty of being inside a castle park.
