It's called the weather alert going up a level causing loud pings to go off. Today was supposed to be one of 2 days a year I supposedly get to sleep in. I'm spending my day off cooking

Just wondering--can you move the weather alert thing out of the bedroom, so that you can sleep? (I don't know if it's a weather station, that looks like a radio, or if it's something like an app on a phone. But whatever it is, maybe try to move it to a different location, like your kitchen, for example.)

Anyone seen Bohemian Rhapsody? I bought the DVD and watched it today. Good flick (love the music of Queen), but sad about Freddie Mercury. He was so talented, and the musical world lost a star too soon.

The actor who portrayed him in the movie won the Oscar. He was amazing.

Anyone seen Bohemian Rhapsody? I bought the DVD and watched it today. Good flick (love the music of Queen), but sad about Freddie Mercury. He was so talented, and the musical world lost a star too soon.

The actor who portrayed him in the movie won the Oscar. He was amazing.

Oh, yes. Loved it. And the soundtrack, and all Queen albums, are selling like crazy.

I have always liked Queen--thought that their "sound" was so different from all the other groups during that time. This is not to say I didn't like a bunch of others as well, but Queen was just so unique, you know? Glad you responded as I was actually a bit down after the movie, and hoping someone else here saw it as well, so I could hear someone else's thoughts about it.

Interesting to note that I had to go to 3 places to find the last one in stock! (They had a few blu-ray ones, but I got the last DVD -- I'm old school with my DVD player.)

The song Bohemian Rhapsody is a flat-out work of art IMHO, and is easily one of my favorite songs from any genre...!!!!!

Yah, I loved the sound of it years ago (and now), but never really understood what was behind the composition. What I liked about the movie was how they really got into the storyline behind the songs. Fascinating.

For some odd reason, I thought they were some local flowers you had--maybe because they were still buds in the picture. If they had bloomed, I would have recognized them as carnations.

We saw it and loved it. A group of my middle school students are now obsessed with Queen. They keep asking me to play Queen music during work time. We are having crazy dress up days for Cabin Fever week at school and the girls that are obsessed with the band told me they are dressing up as the band for flashback day. Should be interesting to see.

By the way, did you know that Disney owns Queens song library so maybe Rock n Roller Coaster should be Queen music!

It's suppose to be a balmy 10 degrees tomorrow for a high. Right now it's 12 degrees but says feels like is 0. Only 30% chance of snow tomorrow. Hoping that it stays away!
