Glad they were smart enough to cancel with the roads being in poor condition. Will they take away a holiday to make up for it?Well, I got a call at 5:30 am this morning, it was the automated call from work. We had a two hour delay...freezing drizzle and ice. I got up a little while later and figured I might as well get dressed for work and just relax for the extra time this morning with my dog and my cross-stitch. While I was getting ready hubs checked Facebook and and our county had closed the main roads north of our town apparently multiple cars had slid off into the ditch in the same spot. I thought, "that's not good." About 10 minutes later the call came that school was now closed. Two Mondays in a row. Good that I get to stay home but bad because I'm pretty sure this is a make up day.
I was also supposed to be on the team to interview for our new superintendent tonight. I'm assuming it is cancelled but we'll see.

It is great to know that you have people to lean on even when you want to try and do it all on your own. This is so true, only in my case people have been coming out of the woodwork to help and support me. I don't deserve any of my friends or neighbors. Just this week one of my neighbors put my trash cans by my door because they knew a snow storm was coming that I didn't know about, and another of my neighbors snow blowed my driveway, walkway, and sidewalk after the storm.
So I guess I mean to say, the people who care really care. I was never expecting all the help I've received.
I am sure your nap was more enjoyable. The amount of ads in our side were staggering..
We were even getting ads mid play (Ie they cut short some plays to put full screen commercials ).
Insane..
I just left in the end of the first quarter and returned home to a very important nap.
That was brilliant!I waited for the game to start and then went food shopping in a beautifully empty supermarket.
