Has it been answered definitively yet how people at Riviera will board gondolas heading in the opposite direction than the line closest to them? On some photos I've seen entrance ramps on both sides of the station. But will people need to go around the station (outside the first tower to ensure clearance) to get to the other side? None of the photos I've seen show any kind of walkway between the entrance ramps.

The main problem with the WEDway system is that it was based upon linear induction motors (LIM). While LIM is great for certain applications, it is not a good system for a slow people moving system. The system was designed back in the 1960's when nuclear power plants were coming online in rapid succession. The promise of cheap and never ending electrical power was thought to be imminent. The Disney designers of the WEDway didn't care that their system was grossly inefficient and used much more power than a conventional rotary electric motor. It is under powered in the sense that a conventional rotary motor could supply much more power for far less cost.

Disneyland closed their system in 1995 citing expensive costs as the reason for the closure. The airport in Houston has publicly stated that the cost of maintaining and operating their system is not a viable option. They currently have new systems under study.

Please tell me these two paragraphs are distinct, and not implying that Disneyland closed the Peoplemover due to the high cost of operating LIMs.

Unless there is a tunnel, they will have to walk around. This is why I believe no two lines are connected at the hub. They would create a wall.

Riders disembark at 9 o'clock and exit left backside of building. Riders enter building on right side and embark at 3 o'clock. There is some physical barrier between embarkation and disembarkation. Barrier can be as simply as a rope or, in case of WDW, claymores.

6:00 am to 11:00 pm. It's the closest thing to a subway system for a city of 2.3 million.

Finishing up the ceiling on the swoops, AoA side. Note that the ceiling on the swoop is perforated (you can see the crane through it. So... not much protection from rain. Also, the little building on AoA side housing electrical.
