This has probably been discussed somewhere in the 705 preceding pages.......Does anyone know what the rationale behind the Gondola station being placed at International Gateway was?

It was cheaper than a boat service to CBR/POP/AOA.

They're really missing an opportunity by not coloring the cables and towers -- then they could call them "The Red Line," "The Blue Line," and "The Green Line."

How about "Strawberry", "Blueberry", and "Kiwi"? (Lime is already taken.)

Interesting to see just how narrow is the green band between DHS parking and Victory Way. I understand Disney paving it to ease maintenance and evacuation, but IMO it would have been a much nicer ride if they had just made a narrow cut and gone over the tree tops.

Everything's kept low for rapid evacuation using lifts and cherry pickers... just in case. They didn't go one inch higher than absolutely necessary.

Well, now that North Carolina has exposed its two-foot-tall squirrel population, maybe they should have raised the wire another two feet or so...

Yep, and it depends on how fast all the cabins get made...

Did an insider say somewhere that cabins are what's holding up completion? Seems as though the last haul rope will be up within days.

325 cabins would take a while. Not sure anything is holding up completion though. Disney has their own reasons for scheduling things as they do.

It takes extra time to apply fireproofing/lightning protection/gator repellent and now anti-squirrel devices...
