There is a big difference between an action shot and a posed portrait. Especially with kids. I can just picture Tinker Bell instructing little kids to look at the tiny box on the wall and smile.
What box?
Where do we look?
I don’t wanna look at the box!

What color is it?
Why is it green?

Most of them are college program I believe.

I agree with the consensus: what a load of crap. The absolute best Photopass shots are the ones where the photographer sees a moment before the guests even know it's happening.

That’s pretty horrible. I thought it was great when I made $8 an hour in college but that was 15+ years ago and in a much lower cost-of-living area. And I didn’t have to deal with crying and snotty kids.
I agree autophotos seems like a crappy idea.

Aren't they moving to $15/hr over the next couple of years... should have predicted this, no...?
What will they do when the automatic camera box has a malfunction? Let me guess.....it will require an actual human being to take the photos.

Most of those photos are terrible and you have to get lucky if you want to see a good pic of your group. They'd be far better if they had human photographers, but in the case of ride photos, it isn't really feasible. This is just a cost-cutting measure. Charge more, deliver less.
I'm glad we'll be there just under the wire so we can have a human.
There just wont be any pictures during the outage.
Is that confirmed? I would think a majority of guests at a M&G want the picture to remember the moment. Seems it would be a no brainer to have a human step in and take photos.
