As far as I know the footage is in production. Premiere currently 2020.

I also expect other theatres to switch to 'seamless' technology.

Projectors probably, films possibly. France and Canada having film attractions are one of several options being considered.

You have to remember this is on the Disney timetable......... announce early, take forever before implementation

Aside from the last I heard (probably), nothing new.

This project has been mothballed and for all intents and purposes not happening anytime soon. It was essentially cancelled.

Last month Disney suffered a 2.5GB leak of documents pertaining to Club Penguin and other departments when a group of Club Penguin fans hacked into a confluence server. I have it on good word that in the leaks pertaining to the Parks is a WDI Announced Projects document that was dated as of April. Only thing listed for Epcot is the reimagining of Test Track.
