Most average theme park guests don't know the difference between PIXAR and Disney animation, so that could be a factor as well.

Not sure if serious, but the upcoming Jungle Book movie (called Mowgli) is being made by Warner Bros and is not related to the Disney franchise.

There was a sequel to Disney's live JB in the works, but that has been put off for a bit.

the last time I was there was in February so that's how I remember it looking like.

Yup, roped off and all signage gone, with the preshow area still intact. It looks like you can actually step over the rope and hang out in the pre-show area, if you're daring enough.

I wonder how expensive it would be to put another film in that theatre that pertains to that pavilions theme and NOT promoting another future film coming to a theatre near you?

A bit late to the party here, but for anyone wondering, here’s a picture of what the theater looks like on the outside currently. I saw some Cast Members waking in and out, I think there might’ve some work happening inside. I could see the carpet mural was still intact, so if they were working, it was in the theater itself.

Does look kind of strange that above the entryway is lit up with no venue sign. Even putting The Harvest Theater above the entrance would make more sense...

I agree. It looks pretty sad just sitting there empty. Here’s hoping that they’ll put something decent in there

If nothing else the closure of Circle of Life means they got rid of all those tacky character signs leading up to the theatre.

I honestly didn’t even remember those until now, but yes, the signs are completely gone, even the frames (Did they have frames?). The only one left (kind of) is the one seen in the image in my original post.

I did too until I saw them just days after the show ended. They did not have frames.
