News Permits 2018

Guests staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge this fall have received an e-mail saying that apart from a pool refurb this autumn, there will be construction work until Fall 2019, have any permits been filed yet to suggest what this might be? Apologies if this is the wrong thread, but there’s very little information available at the moment, thanks

There isn't construction work going on (other than the pool). There is a room refurbishment happening until then, which is simply room furnishings etc. Some rooms will be taken out of use, on a rotating basis, to allow this to happen.

A permit was filed today with the South Florida Water Management district for a new sewer main along side DHS. Just a utility project but I like to document these so when someone inevitably sees the construction we will know what it is.

That area was originally planned as the Arabian resort, correct? I guess this is the final nail in the coffin for that
