I don't even have coffee in the house and haven't for 70 years. (I take that back, when I was a kid my father drank coffee and when I was married my wife drank coffee), but none of that was for me to consume. Never developed a taste for the stuff. I tried it a few time, but, it just didn't stick. Even if I had the habit I know I would never spend what Starbucks charges for water strained through ground up muddy looking stuff. Funny thing, when I was a kid and spent time at my grandparents farm house, every morning I was greeted with the smell of percolating coffee. They wouldn't have used instant at gunpoint. I loved that smell. I even love coffee ice cream, but, oddly it never carried over to drinking the brew.
Ha, that’s funny!

In all seriousness, it’s much better to be a non coffee drinker than a coffee drinker, especially better than someone who would bleed caffeine if pricked, like me. ;)

My husband doesn't drink coffee either but also likes the smell of it. But never in a million years would he drink it.

No not on Hoopla. However, for quite a few years now I've noticed the BYU channel on DirecTV shows a lot of old Disney movies. There were even some I'd never heard of that I enjoyed. Might have to check out Hoopla.

By the way, my dad really liked the Apple Dumpling Gang. When we first got our VCR the first movie we ever watched on it was Swiss Family Robinson and then Apple Dumpling Gang. ADG was a frequently brought home by dad if went and rented movies. :D

Hoopla is a great app that links with your library card! You can borrow 12 (don’t quote me on the exact number) movies/books/music/etc per month.

I was a big fan of the Apple Dumpling Gang too!
Wow, I can't believe you don't have a crock pot! It seems with how busy you are this would be a lifesaver with meal planning for you. I love how I can put a bunch of stuff in a crock pot, and then forget about it and when I come home from work I have a great meal waiting for me.

And I thought I saw this past fall something about plans for a new Mickey Mouse Club. I thought I even saw a cast picture. I haven't heard anything since that. Although nothing will beat the original.

Half the time I don’t get home from work until 8pm, so I don’t know if that would work out. I just buy fresh pre seasoned meat or fish-easy to stick in the over to bake, and I’ll add things like simple sides, baked sweet potato, steamed veggies.. once a week I do make larger meals to have ‘leftovers’, things like veggie lasagna or a Mediterranean dish.
Simple to pack and minimal prep time is my go-to. Once upon a time I loved to cook..these days I’m more about convenience.

That would be great if Disney actually did do a new Mickey Mouse Club!

Things aren't perfect anywhere to be honest. As the old saying goes, life is what you make of it. You need to make yourself happy.
I disagree, if yo live in a place full of violence, boredeness, no advancement, unhappiness.. etc.. you need to move out.

No amount of "make of it" will improve the place. Id rather keep my sanity. thats IMHO.

Spam is a slang term for "Constantly posting lots of posts in a row.'
Except its not.

SPAM is slang for unwanted messages, advertisements, etc..

Also, you're not a moderator, and definitively we do not like "backseat moderators" here. You do not set the rules.

*edit*

To clarify the definition in spam on IRC servers, forums etc..
The spam counts as when someone writes the SAME thing so many times to annoy others/attention seek, etc...

Some sites have dumb exaggerated rules where you cant write consecutive posts and you need to quote them all on a single post. This is not the definition of SPAM and is just a rule set by specific forums.
