@21stamps have you heard from your family yet?
Yes!! Finally! She sent photos from Ohana around 8:10.. and asked “how do I pay with my dining plan when the receipt shows the full amount”.
I told her to make sure to tell the server ahead of time at their next reservation.

They’re at MK now.. I know they were splitting up at 10 for half to do 7DMT (niece isn’t tall enough), and the others to meet a princess. I sent her a text to remember a rider swap. I hope they did!

You and I have a much different idea of what is easy. When I do pork chops I start with a pork loin a cleaver and a sharp knife:banghead:
Now, now... let's not be to hard on @MinnieM123. It's bad enough she has the awful disease of the rare Ithinksnowisgood syndrome, let's not blame her because you chose to feed an army and buy in bulk. You already get the advantage of cost per pound so using a cleaver and knife is a small price to pay.

@21stamps Did you know they have foot golf at Disney? At Oak Trail. Bet T would love it.

Yes!!! We played one day last summer (here not at Disney). It was so much fun! It’s the only time that I can play on a golf course with him.lol.

I wish we had time to play more often, will try to fit a few in this summer.. but he’s such a “regular golf” nut too. He has 2 weeks of golf camp in July.,and I know he’ll play more than that. Now you’re going to make me feel guilty about not taking my own lessons yet!
I do need to learn sooner rather than later.. I just don’t want to!.,,but, he won’t get to play enough unless I do.

I am surprised that the server didn’t ask if they were on the dining plan when they were seated. That is the first thing we are always asked.

Me too! That’s what I thought they did.. they’re paying for 2 meals OOP, and I specifically told her to tell the server that they don’t want to use the dining plan for those when asked.

When she sent the text I thought maybe I remembered incorrectly.

On top of the freezing cold temps, you'd have to BYOC. We don't drink coffee in the house. There is a Starbucks 5 minutes away though.;)
Wait.. what..wait...but...umm...how..do..you..but...

Nm. I’m in such shock that I can’t even put a sentence together. ;)
I don't even have coffee in the house and haven't for 70 years. (I take that back, when I was a kid my father drank coffee and when I was married my wife drank coffee), but none of that was for me to consume. Never developed a taste for the stuff. I tried it a few time, but, it just didn't stick. Even if I had the habit I know I would never spend what Starbucks charges for water strained through ground up muddy looking stuff. Funny thing, when I was a kid and spent time at my grandparents farm house, every morning I was greeted with the smell of percolating coffee. They wouldn't have used instant at gunpoint. I loved that smell. I even love coffee ice cream, but, oddly it never carried over to drinking the brew.
