Agree-- running through airports for connections is for the birds. A few years ago, I flew out of your favorite :pCharlotte airport to New York, for my connection to Boston. Took a long time for the plane to reach the gate in N.Y., and by the time I grabbed my carryon and got out of the plane, I had only about 5 minutes to get to my connecting gate--which was, of course--as far away as possible from the gate my plane arrived at!!

But here's the best part: So I am literally sprinting across this mammoth terminal at LaGuardia, and all the while, I'm hearing over the loud speaker, "Passenger (x), please proceed to Gate (x). Your plane is ready for departure." :banghead: Umm, can't they see in the computer that my connection just arrived LATE at the OPPOSITE end of the terminal?! Who did they think I was--Wonder Woman??!!

Had that experience too. We got there less than a minute after they closed the door so did the 25 other people that had been on our flight that needed to connect.

Did you make your flight?

I just hope they don't ripen until June this year. Last year our strawberries were in full bloom when we were in Disney. My SIL took most of them and froze them. While that was great and all, I prefer fresh because I like to eat them straight after they are picked.:hungry:

I don’t think you have to worry about that with the cold and snow we’ve been having.

It seems bright and somewhat roomy compared to some other cubicle environments. Maybe I'm not the best judge.
Naturally everyone would prefer a day on a cruise or a warm beach:cool: to a day at the office ;)

It's too bright. They have those new fancy lights in this location that are low electricity but high light output. It's like working inside a tanning bed, LOL.

I would definitely rather be on a beach, but overall I do love my job!
