So the spinning move? You are right, he won't gain any confidence unless he actually plays.

Yes, the spinning move. I can’t even do it properly. My husband could, but I’ve even watched him lose control in games when using it. It’s a lot different to attemp while charging at a defender than standing and doing it as a drill.

It’s also one of the quickest ways to injure an ankle. I don’t let T attempt it now.. he tried it once during game play on my team.. wiped out, hurt his ankle, had to sit out for a bit.. but luckily didn’t sprain it. Not worth it to me. Looks cool, but there’s very few people who can do it effectively. I’m less about the ”fancy” and more about results.

There was one where I used to live and took my kids to it. My son got his haircut there too. :hilarious: No pixie dust though. They liked the free pretty lollipops they used to get after the cuts were done.

Not sure why, but this reminded me (not about lollipops) but of spiked eggnog.

At one point, I had a hairdresser who used to bring booze, for the holidays, into her salon. So I went in one Saturday for a "trim" and apparently, it was spiked eggnog day, and she made it herself . . :cautious: :) She gave me a full glass of this (it was delicious, by the way) and I drank it down, while she was cutting my hair.

I have this thing about long bangs, but she said my eyes would really sparkle, if I had shorter bangs. Feeling all relaxed from the eggnog, and in a festive holiday mood, I said, "O.k., cut them a little bit shorter."

Big mistake--I ended up looking like Mamie Eisenhower! :jawdrop: :hilarious:

You tend to find that in any IT department. They know that most people either are unable to figure out computers and programs or are unwilling to learn them so they become a necessary evil. Ego's on the loose. What I have trouble figuring out is I think you said that he didn't know how to work a "time" program? If an IT guy can't figure it out, how does anyone else?
They really need to be shown how to enter time more because you account for various activities, but the interface is user friendly. Reading over material should have been enough until we could meet.

Yep, I keep telling her she has 2 more years of middle school, 2 years of high school and then she'll be going into the culinary program at vocational school so it'll get better. She just hates middle school because she is an old soul. "Those kids drive me crazy!" is my answer to "How was your day?"

Watching Chopped right now.
Maybe one day we'll see her on it...as a celebrity chef judge...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
