Oh, I definitely walk around in a stupor all the time! :p But yesterday, I was at the right bus stop and all, and the bus came right on time--it just wasn't mine! :hilarious:
It has been over 20 years since I have taken any public transportation, not including Disney, but don't the buses have a display on the side of the bus saying which one it is? Glad the bus driver was nice enough to drive you to another route. What a horrible afternoon for you. Good thing it wasn't snowing.;)

So for our upcoming trip we have decided to eat some meals outside the parks. We have chosen 3 places that we don't have near us. One of the ones was thanks to @Goofyernmost , Sweet Tomatoes. I was always curious about it. After he mentioned it yesterday I checked out the menu. I didn't know it was a buffet and had loads of vegetarian stuff. It also scored high on Trip Advisor. The second is one a bunch of my chit chat friends have talked up and that is Chuy's. The nearest one to us is outside DC and we have no plans to head that way. We will be in Baltimore this coming weekend, but heading to where that is from the Inner Harbor makes no sense. The 3rd place is Bahama Breeze. It has been many years since we have been. I wish we had one here because I could so use the tropical atmosphere. So anyone want to critique these choices or are they good ones?
Sweet Tomatoes is basically a huge salad bar. But, for the non-vegetarian it had Chicken Noodle soup to die for. I used to go there for lunch often especially when I was on a perpetual weight loss mode. Along with my comfort food place, Golden Corral) that had the best Fried Chicken I have ever eaten, I miss those two the most. We still have a GC about 7 miles away and I can still get there on rare occasions, but, no more Sweet Tomatoes within easy range.

They just opened up a Chuy's near our house. Maybe we should try it.

Yes, there is a very clear display of the route number and location. However, there are two buses with very similar numbers (only 1 digit difference in the 3-sequence numbering). Since the bus arrived on time, I only glanced at the display quickly and just assumed it was my usual bus! (Duhh for moi . . . ) :p

Take heart or depression based on the fact that as we get older that becomes a more frequent thing to happen. All part of the joys of maturity. The more routine something gets the more likely it is that we will do some lame things along the way. When I was driving bus... My sign was right for the route I was supposed to be taking, so it wasn't as bad is it might have been, but, as I left the terminal I headed out on a different route. It didn't take me long to correct it thanks to the regular riders correcting me as soon as I made a turn that wasn't on their regular route. Very embarrassing causing me to call myself some very shocking things.

I got front row tickets to FC Cincinnati’s opener next weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!x!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tristan is going to be THRILLED!!!

Unfortunately they’re not dead center, one section over.. but.. GREAT SEATS!!! I’ve been checking Craigslist for days,.. finally someone posted a listing!!!!! I contacted the person.. she called me back.. I immediately went to meet her. Soooo excited!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry guys.. they’re not MLS, but they will be soon.. they’re a great team and it’s rare that one of their games doesn’t conflict with our own schedules.. opening day is going to be so much fun! :)

I thought all soccer in the US were MLS? We didn't have a Premier League style system.

I have the NE Revolution near me and I haven't gone to a game or seen an MLS game on TV.

They look like good nap couches! Great idea keeping the wrapping. Good thing you don’t have kids or the wrapping would be on all the time. We haven’t bought a new couch in over 10 years and don’t plan to for awhile. We have pet covers on them though.

It was pretty comfortable last night when I was reading my book, and I might have fallen asleep for awhile! We didn't know that the couches would come wrapped with covers we could reuse by taking them off nicely, not ripping them like I thought hubs would do, that we had bought some brand new tarps to cover them with for when we were dog sitting.

We bought our old couches when we got married with money given to us as gifts and that was almost 13 years ago. So we are hoping these last as long.

To @Cesar R M , many businesses still expect their people to work on Good Friday. A number of businesses, however, let their people out a few hours early, which is nice.

I left a few hours early myself, yesterday. Then it all went downhill. Got on a bus to go home, and I noticed that the driver flew past my exit on the highway. :jawdrop: Nobody on the bus said anything, and it dawned on me that I took the wrong bus!! Long story short, bus then connected to a different highway, and we ended up in a small city that I didn't know where the heck I was!

So, I asked the driver if he was just going to turn around at the end of this route and go back to Boston--nope! :in pain: He said he was off his shift at the end of this run, and another bus ran a similar route--but that bus route shut down early.:facepalm: Eventually, he took pity on me as he knew I was lost and stranded -- and drove me to another location when I could pick up some other crazy bus line back toward the city.

Took me 3 hours to get home yesterday!:hilarious:

Sorry to hear about your commute difficulties. I could probably see myself doing something similar. I'm glad the driver helped you out, good karma points for him!

LOVE these! Really nice color combinations. Excellent choice!

Thanks, we like them a lot. And Kapono has been on the love seat but is still very unsure of them and has been sitting on the recliner instead. She will get used to them but it is a little funny to see her so unsure of the furniture.

We have 3 professional men’s leagues in the US.. FC Cincinnati is in the USL. The team has only been around for a couple of years, but the support has been phenomenal.

The only thing preventing them from the MLS is a new stadium, or lack thereof. There’s obviously many political battles over the new site. One possible location is in Kentucky.. I would HATE to see that happen. I’m really hoping that they keep it on this side of the river.

I think soccer is only going to get more popular in the US, for a number of reasons. I’m excited to watch it grow!

We had the truck and trailer ready to make a trip up there today to grab some stuff, the traffic cams are telling us, not such a good idea. ☹️

My sister and my niece were driving back from Florida yesterday, luckily they made it home before all the snow/rain started. I should go to Walgreens today to pick up a prescription, but it just looks so yucky out I will wait until later hopefully it will be better but if not I can wait.

Me too, especially the daffodils. Daffodils and tulips are in my top 3 favorite flowers, the number one is peonies. So I really want to see my daffodils!

Tulips are one of my favorite flowers as well.. (tied with orchids) my daffodils already bloomed a couple of weeks ago during a warm spell. I let T pick all of them and bring them inside, I knew they wouldn’t last thru the snow.

My tulips haven’t bloomed yet, so I’m still hopefully that I’ll have some of my annuals left for Spring. I’ll send good thoughts for yours!

The like was for the flowers. I am guessing the snow you got is what is headed here.:(

Thanks! I think our snow was headed mostly north but I don't remember what the radar said. I hope the snow headed your way peters out. Our snow ended up canceling the town's Easter egg hunt for all the kiddos. I feel really bad for them, it's too bad the planners didn't have an alternate location planned to use the weather people have just been talking about the snow all week. But since I don't want to plan it I'll just keep my mouth shut around people.
