Zootopia Meet & Greet

Hello peoples! I have been wondering about this for a while..
Does anyone know when we'll ever see a Zootopia Judy & Nick meet-n-greet? Based off the success of the movie, plus that it seems Disney is working on a sequel, I think it's safe to assume we'll get one eventually, but does anyone know when? I know you can see them in the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It! Parade, but while they will usually let you give them a hug, there is a very slim chance you can get a picture with both of them. So I was wondering if anyone has any info on this topic. I've heard the rumors about Zootopia coming to Animal Kingdom in the future, and that would grant a meet-n-greet, but there have been some rumors saying the project has been shelved for now. So if anyone knows anything about a future meet-n-greet, please respond!

Yup, I just checked out a map from last years Christmas Party, and it looks like they're coming back to it this year.
They've meet for the 2016 MVMCP as well, and were rumored before to be moving to Epcot, but I believe plans for that fell through. Most likely they are returning for this year's MVMCP.

I actually met with a meet-n-greet manager, and he told me the reason there is no Judy and Nick meet-n-greet as of yet is because of either of these two reasons.
A. There isn't anywhere to put them right now as a permanent greeting area.
B. They're apparently afraid of guests getting "tired of them"... and they don't think we'll get tired of Frozen which Zootopia is hands down dominant over.

Why did the plan for them to go to Epcot fall through? And I'm going to assume they would've gone into the temporary meet-n-greet taking over the Innoventions that's gonna be staying there for the next 2-3 years before being demolished?

I have no idea why. Turns out that rumor was "too good to be true." I wish we had a more solid source than what @dcharacternews had originally mentioned.
However, I had the sneaking suspicion that they would be returning to MVMCP, and guess what? I was right after all!

The Jungle Book meet-n-greet that's at the dock in Animal Kingdom shall be rid of soon, is it possible we could see a temporary Judy & Nick meet-n-greet down there for a while?

Well, with the sayings recently about guests being surveyed that asks about a Zootopia area coming to DAK, that more than likely means Zootopia coming to DAK is now off the shelve and close to being greenlit.

So, that once again raises hope of a permanent Judy & Nick meet-n-greet! :D

The Eat to the Beat concert series isn’t the only entertainment at this year’s EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, coming to Future World is the all-new Disney Du Jour Dance Party. You can find it on the Fountain View Stage on Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the festival.
The concert is family friendly with great music and interactive dances, plus activities for kids of all ages. Keep your eyes open and you might get a chance to dance with some popular Disney characters including: Remy and Emile from Pixar’s “Ratatouille,” Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from “Zootopia,” Lilo and Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch (ha)) and other classic Disney characters.

While I am happy about this...

STOP DOING DANCE PARTIES WITH THEM, AND JUST GIVE THEM A M&G!

No, unfortunately. Unless you’re they’re for the Christmas party that is. I know, it’s sad to see them mostly ignore a masterpiece of a movie, but they seem to be more focused on shoving more Frozen down our throats. What a shame...

That would be a dream. As you could tell, I’m a MASSIVE fan of the movie, and would absolutely love to see a full land for it in the parks. It’s nice to see another Zootopia fan on these forums. I thought I was alone for the longest time...

Exactly. Frozen is a great film and all, but they ruined it by shoving it down our throats, even though Zootopia is hands-down a much better film.

I know, right? Frozen was good at first, but got annoying real fast with the pure amount of merchandise and other stuff Disney was producing. They even got rid of a classic Epcot dark ride for one based on the film. Meanwhile, Zootopia gets absolutely nothing outside of Nick and Judy being there at special events and that dance party. It’s the far superior film too. I can go on for hours about how much I love Zootopia. It’s my #1 favorite Disney movie of all time, (not including the stuff they purchased like Star Wars) is my vote for the #1 animated film and ranks #3 on my favorite movies ever list. I’ve written fanfiction, became a certified “lore expert” and I was even introduced to the furry fandom through it, which changed my life for the better. (Please, no hateful comments) And Disney continues to sweep it under the rug in favor of more Frozen sh*t. I can’t even get a personal meet and greet with the characters. I’d love to get pictures with them and their autographs, ask Judy how her career’s going and ask Nick if he loves Judy. (Huge WildeHopps shipper here!) It’s outrageous! Sorry I went on this rant, and let’s hope the rumors of Zootopia coming to AK are true...
