Zootopia Meet & Greet

I know, right? Frozen was good at first, but got annoying real fast with the pure amount of merchandise and other stuff Disney was producing. They even got rid of a classic Epcot dark ride for one based on the film. Meanwhile, Zootopia gets absolutely nothing outside of Nick and Judy being there at special events and that dance party. It’s the far superior film too. I can go on for hours about how much I love Zootopia. It’s my #1 favorite Disney movie of all time, (not including the stuff they purchased like Star Wars) is my vote for the #1 animated film and ranks #3 on my favorite movies ever list. I’ve written fanfiction, became a certified “lore expert” and I was even introduced to the furry fandom through it, which changed my life for the better. (Please, no hateful comments) And Disney continues to sweep it under the rug in favor of more Frozen sh*t. I can’t even get a personal meet and greet with the characters. I’d love to get pictures with them and their autographs, ask Judy how her career’s going and ask Nick if he loves Judy. (Huge WildeHopps shipper here!) It’s outrageous! Sorry I went on this rant, and let’s hope the rumors of Zootopia coming to AK are true...
These are exactly my thoughts. Like, they give Doc McStuffins a second M&G over at Planet Watch (even though she already has one at DHS), instead of putting Judy and Nick in there.
(Also, really good to find another big WildeHopps shipper!)

Do we know for sure that Nick and Judy will be at MVMCP 2018? Our first day at Disney will be the party and my DS6 will melt if he can meet Judy and get a picture. Even if it means it’s the only thing he gets to do at the party. Are the M&G lines as bad as at MNSSHP?

We know for a fact they are returning to MVMCP this year. And yes, the lines can be pretty bad...

Apparently on a peak night, the line for Judy and Nick got up to 5 hours.

Well I’d be willing to pay for the extra ticket with my own money and wait in hours long lines just to meet the two and get a pic + signatures.

5 hours is soooo long. But he might be willing. We’ll have to see what he wants to do. They are his only character request, but a 6 year old has a hard time deciding when the choice is wait in a long line or do some rides. Especially since it’s our first day.

Thanks for the information though!

No problem!

Me personally, since this is the only time they have a meet-n-greet (and with them being my two favorite characters), I wouldn't even hesitate waiting in a 5-hour line.
(But, tip: Head on over to their line around 10pm. That's when the fireworks start, and that's when everyone starts going back to their hotels since the kids start getting tired.)

Great tip! Thanks. I’m not sure he’s going to make it that late. Maybe we can give him coffee? (Joking...)

Do people usually start lining up really early? Would it be wildly frowned upon for one grown up to wait while DS ride a couple of rides with Grandma and then popped into the line? It feels borderline to me. We won’t be in the parks before party time, so the earliest we could line up is 4:30. I assume they don’t come out until 7.

Sometimes high-demand characters (Seven Dwarves, Jack & Sally, Judy & Nick) will come out at 4 or 5. So yeah, usually people will get in line around 4pm.

Say Disney announced a Judy and Nick M&G was coming next month. Where would it probably go?

I'd say either the new Character Spot in Innoventions, or move Olaf over to Epcot and put Judy and Nick there instead.

I honestly don’t know where it’ll go. My best guesses are Planet Watch at DAK, (hopefully only temporary until they build a
Zootopia-themed land, which I REALLY hope they do) basically anywhere in Future World at EPCOT that isn’t already taken, (as that land lacks a consistent theme) or somewhere at DHS.
