We've had plenty of snow, this is the 4th nor'easter in 4 weeks. The last one (the one before this) dumped close to 2 feet of snow on us. The first nor'easter 4 weeks ago, caused significant flooding and damage. I may need to demolish my garage because of that storm.

That's rough. If it's any consolation, at least it was the garage needing demolishing, and not your actual house. Hope the repairs/reconstruction go well for you and that most of it is covered by your HO insurance.

It contains a “unique offer code” ?!?!!!! Is this the 30% Pin Code that I’ve been waiting for for 3 years???? On the year that I’m not going????

Or..

Did everyone receive it? Please tell me that everyone did receive it, Please!
Lucky. I checked and...nothing. That is ok. I am pretty sure DH doesn't want to pay for a third trip this year.

Well.....picture me in this chair. Sometimes reading a book....sometimes chatting with you guys on that laptop.View attachment 271762

Looks comfy! :inlove: We all have our Archie Bunker chair (actually we have a love seat, but it's a La-Z-Boy one, and the foot rest opens up like your chair above).

By the way, I assume you've probably paid off the bill for the chair, so feel free to cut off the price tag now. ;):joyfull:

Yeah, the rule about Labor Day to June 15 as the official school year has meant that nobody in Maryland has Spring Break any more. We get Good Friday and Easter Monday, but those are the only two days off between MLK and Memorial Day - makes for a pretty long haul. I would be a big fan of a collegiate-type schedule and have always been a huge proponent of year round schooling - 11 weeks on, 2 weeks off all year. Far better in terms of brain development and actual learning as well as preparation for the 'real world.'

I am a big fan of the collegiate schedule. It changed while my son, my oldest was in high school. He did the last two years with collegiate. Prior two years they went back for a week after 2 weeks off from the holidays and then finals. So many teachers gave them review packets to complete over winter break, it wasn't really a break. It does prepare students for Universities follow semester schedules which are most now.

And in a heartbeat my kids would have been in year round school if it was available, it isn't but a few towns over does, it is actually on a lottery because the demand is high. Can you imagine how much easier it would be to schedule Disney Vacations? :geek:

I looked at their menu the other day and it has gotten much smaller with very few options for vegetarians and kids.

There are 3 flatbread choices, but none are appealling to me. It also had assorted ready to go sandwiches and bakery choices. The kids menu only has nuggets and an uncrustable pb&j We probably won’t go their this trip.

I was disappointed. Then by December they also changed the lounge menu and not in a good way. I love the lodge, love staying there, love the atmosphere and theming. They need some help with their food offerings for the guests that stay there. The two sit downs are excellent but we are not going to do that for 2 weeks.

I love New Balance. Their walking shoes are pricey, but I've only bought a certain style of theirs for years now and don't even bother with any other brand. I've found something that I really like, and I'm sticking with it! :D

I'm with you!!! I wear my Asics almost everyday of the year. I don't vary up. And this week I bought 2 pairs of Under Armour running shoes after reading some of the reviews and a new pair of Asics. The runners are saying the Under Armour shoes are cooler during hot humid weather and they are much lighter than my Asics. If they don't work out I'll just wear them here and there and stick with Asics. We shall see.
