We almost hit a deer yesterday on our way home from A's school! Two of them were chillin on the side of the road and if I hadn't thought to slow down and come to a stop before we got to them..... A loved seeing them though! She ran up to her dad when we got home and said "We stopped our car so Reindeer Sven didn't get died!!"
Ha ha! That’s so cute!!! They’re so stupid.. they run in to people’s cars. I’m always so scared of hitting/being hit by one.

Plan on a LOT of pool time. Castle Couture does free sprinkles of pixie dust, I'm sure you know about that, but thought I'd mention it in case.

No, I didn’t know that! What do they do?
I know A met a ton of characters.. but I think my sister only has two on her list, outside of character meals. Should I tell her to do more?

We ended up canceling CRT and replacing it with Askerhaus due to the odd reservation time, it would have cut in to the fireworks. Bro-in-law is taking nephew to Garden Grill while sis and niece are at Askerhaus.
They’re also doing Ohana breakfast at my insistence., Chef Mickey.. Minnie’s Holiday Dine..BOG dinner..,another BOG breakfast.

Also at my recommendation they are skipping Animal Kingdom...doing Hollywood Studios, Epcot and 2 MK days..4 park days and 2 resort (mini golf/boat) days. They’re staying at AKL.

Princess Hall MK, Anna and Elsa EPCOT, Joy and Sadness EPCOT. Ditch BOG breakfast for anyplace else unless they need to be in the castle twice, beast only meets at dinner

Good Morning! Sun is out, with an expected high of 48. You know, what the kids here think of as shorts and a t-shirt weather. Snow predictions keep fluctuating. Just looked. 4-8? I should have known. The boys are supposed to fly back in to town Saturday. Hope it is all over and plowed by then.

Don't forget the flip flops... ;)
You know, TSSFF...!!!!! :joyfull:

Thanks! I hate planning my own Disney trips.. crazy that I’m planning someone else’s.. but my sister has no desire, I still don’t think she’s logged on to look at the specific parks. Her words- “Can you please make me a spreadsheet? Then we’ll have a meeting and we’ll go over everything then.” Lol.
We did her dining and FPs at 60 days.. the dining a few days before.

Only tv shows that niece watches is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Masha and the Bear.. she LOVES Minnie, Moana (who I know doesn’t meet), Ariel, Elsa, and just now starting to become a Belle fan.

The reason for the 2 BOG reservations is I found a 8am res on their last day.. thought it may benefit them to be in Fantasyland when the park opens.. do you think it’s a waste?

The Big Top by Dumbo has assorted snacks, The Plaza Ice Cream has some good ones, Les Artisans has some excellent sorbet and some for the adults not credit but so worth it;), again in France Les Hailles, Frozen sing along MGM, BATB MGM, make sure they have a fp for ETWB, Merida M&G, popcorn, anything in Germany. Sorry I'm not much help boys:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Merida isn't on any of the regular schedules so you'll have to check the site for her times or just walk by her area. She's AMAZING so if the girls are a fan of her, definitely go in!

A met a ton of princesses, but we only really planned to meet Rapunzel and do the CRT dinner and that was it. We had to replan everything on the fly when we realized the only thing she wanted to do was meet princesses. So I guess the moral of the story is BE FLEXIBLE!

Castle Couture is behind the castle where BBB is. At the end of BBB they sprinkle glitter into the girls hair and its "pixie dust" but you can walk in and have them put glitter in her hair for free, without an appointment. Of course, you'll have no help getting the glitter back out of their hair, LOL.

Also in DS there is supposedly a photopass studio where the kids can dress up in different things and go in front of different back drops and you get all the pictures included with your photopass. We didn't get a chance to do that on our last trip though because it was so crowded.

Tell her to be prepared for her daughter to come back with a new favorite. A is obsessed with Aurora and Tinkerbell now and they were not even on her radar before our trip.

There's nothing Masha and Bear there but Toys R Us has a bunch of M&B stuff on clearance right now (not related to store closings so it should be universal). Your sister can go pick some up and take it with them and surprise her with it down there.

Since they're on the DDP the BOG breakfast will actually be a good value. I vote keep it!

I looked at their menu the other day and it has gotten much smaller with very few options for vegetarians and kids.
View attachment 271666
There are 3 flatbread choices, but none are appealling to me. It also had assorted ready to go sandwiches and bakery choices. The kids menu only has nuggets and an uncrustable pb&j We probably won’t go their this trip.
I guess their PR excuse will be "We Streamlined our menus for the pleasure of our guests shareholders"

@21stamps @Cesar R M and everyone else. I got an email from Raise.com today. They are offering an extra 5% off on discounted travel gift cards. 2 of the brands are Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises. They also have Southwest, Delta, and Marriott. The Celebrity were already over 14% off. The RCCL were at 6% . Those percentages are before the 5%. I bought gift cards from them before and never had an issue.
Good finding! I'm going to check and see how it goes!

MSUSA opens at 8 for a 9 opening if they skip they show and get to the front of the line they should be fine without BOG. That works if they can eat and be through security just before 8

Thanks! I’ll tell her about the glitter! I know they’re not planning on Disney Springs, sis has 0 interest in it with the kids.

As far as “flexible” TRUST ME- I’ve told her that.. the problem is -she’s too flexible, she didn’t want to plan anything beyond 3 FPs.. I’m so glad she’s changed that mindset.

I’ve warned her that her park days are too ambitious- they plan on going from park opening to park closing on the 4 park days. They are driving, bringing their BOB.. and will probably actually let their daughter use it ;), son can sit on the front if he needs to..so maybe she’s right and they will be fine.
She knows my melt down stories, so I gave her fair warning.
They’ve been to SeaWorld several times and the kids are always fine with the long days there, we’ll see.

Plan I set so far is
Arrival Day (early afternoon)- resort time Chef Mickey dinner.
2nd day- MK
3rd day- HS
4th day - resort/mini golf/boat
5th day- Epcot
6th day- MK.
They’re driving to Clearwater after that.
