Sounds like fun! Are you going to go on the rides there at the mall? After seeing background images from when the sports people were broadcasting at the mall a few weeks ago, I thought it looked like something I'd like to do! (But I live waaayyy too far away from there . . .) ;)

We might go on some of the rides. We are going to do glow in the dark mini golf for sure, there is a big Chinese New Year Celebration starting at noon, and then we will see what else we/she wants to do. We have done some of the rides before and they are fun, there are three roller coasters.

I heard Jet blue is going to start flying in and out of Minneapolis, so that might be a cheaper way for you to get there!

And even most of those laws do not come into play often. The crew has the authority to keep and restore order as deemed necessary. Now the cruise line could deal with staff but it is not likely to benefit any passenger. About the only compensation for catastrophic injury to a passenger is if he or she is the sole bread winner and can no longer work and you are able to prove the cruise line was at fault in the country of where the flag is flown from. If a child dies on a ship by maritime law the child's life has no value. Why so many cruise lines went without lifeguards till recently or many still do not. The preschooler that seem to push that safety thought process with Disney was the ship was still at a US Port when the boy was found at the bottom of the pool. Shortly there after Disney posted lifeguards at the kids pool. But the Death on the High Seas Act remains intact and shows no signs of going anywhere as it is agreed upon international maritime law and has been around for 100 years and no challenges have been successful. If a cruise ship goes down and they all pass away for the most part all the cruise line looses is the ship which is insured. So if you see a brawl, get the heck out cause if you get hurt it is going to cost ya.
That is good information to know. I didn’t know a little boy drowned on a Disney ship. My kids were never out of site when we went unless they were at a kids club.

When my Sis lived in Germany she said everyone spoke English she encountered and that was the case in most countries she visited around there too. Worst she said was France for her encounters anyhow.
French are weird. They all speak English. They just don’t want to. When I was in college my family took a trip through France. My mom spoke perfect French. When she asked questions of people sometimes, she would ask them in English and they would reply in French. She spoke English on purpose because she knew it annoyed them.

First time we took littlest dd on Barnstormer I was worried because she was just 3 and hadn't done anything more wild than the Winnie the Pooh ride. We were there for EMH so it was empty. We did it the first time and she loved it. There was no one waiting so they let us just stay on. This happened 2 more times. By the third time there were people waiting and we needed to exit. She was so mad that she had to get off. I knew then that I had a little daredevil. :D

Hahaaa...!
Yep, DWifey always jokingly gives me carp for turning our kiddos into thrill ride junkies!!! :hilarious:
When she's old enough, send her up in one of these...!!!!!!! :joyfull: 😉

Sympathy like. It doesn't seem to look any different now then when you hurt it. Poor pinky.:(

Thanks!
Yep, pretty sure it's gonna' stay this way. I just don't have the time for some sort of surgery for something so minor that isn't affecting my work (I'm still able to sketch at my drafting table and use the keyboard for CAD and SketchUp just fine).
My grandfather (on my pops side) had to have one of his index fingers (I forget which one :cyclops:) amputated many years before I was born. A cow kicked him while he was milking it and it eventually became gangrenous.
He had false teeth too. He was a hoot taking out his false teeth and putting that stub finger up to one of his nostrils...!!!!! :joyfull: :hilarious:

<-- Just seen the news of a huge brawl at a Carnival ship.

I don't think we're ever going to get on a Carnival ship lol.

The tipping point was the news source saying "yet another one..." and I'm like? Another one? just how many brawls have been there in these ships?
Never heard of fight like that on a Carnival ship before. But if you stop cruising one whole cruise line because of an incident then you should stop cruising on Royal Caribbean since that storm chaser died in the main dance club after he and a bunch of his friends were tripping on "club" drugs.
